Amazing !

Nice hotel, pleasant stay, but it is definitely not a five star hotel. The food buffet is not great, every day the same food, even dinner buffet looks like breakfast buffet. The restaurants offer a La carte food thankfully, otherwise you get tired of buffet after a second day. Other than food hotel is ok.

Chose this hotel as it looked beautiful in photos and was dog friendly. Dog friendliness was a plus (understandably can’t have dogs in restaurants or at pools but there was a grassy area you could lounge with pets in). The rooms are also new and nicely appointed. But the positives end there. The hotel is 95% large families. Everything is geared for families and kids. Even the main bar is where all the children’s entertainment (loud shows and kids music) is until late at night. No option for dining for adults only. Restaurants can only be booked strictly on site 10a-5pm. If you check in after 5 pm good luck to you, you’re stuck with the buffet. Unfortunately, both buffet and restaurants are average at best. Cold, greasy, not enough choices, sad salad bar. You get the picture. Restaurants not really better. Pizza at the Italian place was edible. Swordfish came to the table raw and had to be sent back. Terribly slow service (yes even by local standards) and kitchen staff screaming and arguing through the whole service to the point servers were apologizing to guests. Quality of wine and drinks was awful. This hotel ticks all the boxes on paper and might work for you if you’re a family and not fussed about food. But not appropriate for couples or groups of adults and not a food destination.

Fantastic stay with our 20 month old. Excellent service from staff - extremely attentive. Food was good, lots of different option on site. Pools were great along with entertainment for kids.

The family and I had a great experience whilst staying here, staff were attentive, food was good (a bit more Portuguese authenticity would have been great) and our room ws comfortable. Only one small lapse leads to a 4 star rating, where kids club one day switched to an alternate format requiring parents to stay on a day where the wife and I had booked massages at the spa - so only one of us ended up going. No communication went out regarding the change, but understand that sometimes things happen. Still didnt take the shine off of what was a great / relaxing holiday.

Very happy with our stay. We came with our baby boy and the hotel is extremely family friendly. Lots of good food and drinks (even cider) which was a pleasant surprise! Wasn’t too busy and the pools were great. Clean and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Pictures do not do this place justice. It’s a brilliant hotel, quite secluded in Alvor. Lovely to have an adults only area (pool) to be away from the noise and craziness of the family areas. Food is great, good variety and a very good quality.

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights in April and it was absolutely amazing! The only downfall is the food.

Very limited onsite activities. Limited food options. The property was about to close for the cold season and they limited dining options to only 2 restaurants, and closed other restaurants. Indoor activities specifically kid's activities were extremely limited. They had no onsite activities on last night of our stay, October 30th.

The staff were amazing, they're always ready to help. The location was walking distance to the beach. The rooms all have their own patio area. The area is safe and surrounded with tourist attractions. I had a great time here and if I'm visiting Portugal once again, I'll definitely want to stay there again.

Very modern, new hotel with comfortable rooms. Fabulous food at the restaurants and something always on offer at other outlets (although the food temperature could be warmer on the buffets). Bar & restaurant staff all very welcoming and friendly. Slight (& picky) negatives - bit of a walk to the beach / taxi to the local town. Water & coffee creamer not replenished in rooms each day. Late check-out not available and although shower facilities provided - the water in those showers was freezing and meant that washing hair was not possible.

Just came back from a stay at Tivoli. A few pros: - Facilities are great for kids, with swimming pool, splash pad and kids club. Kids club also has day long snacks for pickier eaters so you don't worry if they skipped a meal at the main restaurants - Little train takes you to beach in 5min, and you can easily get taxis to ones further away - Entertainers at kids club are amazing and keep kids really engaged - Food options as there are 4 different restaurants and snack bars with food all day long Cons: - Reception staff really lets down as they could be quite unreliable - in more than one occasion we asked them to pre book taxis only to show up and taxis had not been booked (including to airport!). We also had to lug our luggage and kids down the hill (our room was right at the top of the property) as we asked them for help and no one ever showed up. - Our room phone didn't work during the whole stay despite them saying they'd get it fixed - it meant we had to walk to reception every time we needed something - Room/cleaning staff could be more attentive too - often would not clean out rubbish/dirty glasses from room, and we kept having to ask to have water bottles replenished This is a great stay for kids - our kids made long lasting memories! But it's let down by the general attentiveness and reliability of the front of house staff. Entertainers were a highlight, as was service at restaurants.

Really great stay. Lovely hotel with great decor, and dining options. Staff are friendly and helpful. A 10 minute walk to a lovely big beach.
