Very comfortable and quiet. Stayed in a heated cabin. Food was very good but if you are a picky eater there are not a lot of choices at dinner time. Breakfast had a wide array of food from eggs, meats, fish, granola, yogurt to fruits and vegetables. Very pleasant staff. The reindeer and dogs are adorable !

Booked the Gamma Room to see Northern lights… the clouds cleared and it was magic! The two single beds are easily put together and even moved to the window. The bathroom was very spacious after days on a cruise. I’m sure it’s more beautiful when the snow has fallen, we were concerned about looking out onto a giant white plastic covered structure but at night it looked like snow. Included dinner nice although we had done the king crab tour then given king cr a starter seemed a bit stupid. We walked around the snow hotel part… rooms are similar to the Quebec version. It is an experience but you only need

Wonderful peaceful setting. We stayed in the Snow hotel whilst outside it was warm and sunny. We loved the reindeer and the huskies and enjoyed walking by the fjord. Staff were friendly and helpful and quality of food in restaurant was great. Would definitely recommend

This is a magical place! We fed the reindeer, we played with the husky puppies, we walked down to a Sandy Beach and bathed in the Langefjord. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable with coffee and tea and a lovely porch to look at the beautiful scenery in Finnmark. Stuff for friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!

Everyone at the Snowhotel was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the dogsledding. We spent a night in the Snowhotel. The sleeping bags they provide are very warm. Everything was great. Just keep in mind, there is no plumbing in the Snowhotel. Bathrooms and showers are in an attached building.

Mom got nervous and the staff was SO gracious and let her stay in a warm cabin ( thankfully one was not yet booked ). Early in the day we did a great crab expedition- just wonderful, informative and delicious! AND the food was hyper local , fresh inventive and five star. ⭐️ fun to see sled dogs working, reindeer wandering and Sami handcraft displays. Thanks for a unique and warm experience!

We had a great time staying in both the cabins and the snowhotel! It’s an experience of a lifetime! It’s not as cold as one is afraid it is, we were very warm all night, my 8yo son slept through the night in the high warmth sleeping bags.

I stayed here one night in the snow hotel and the other in the gamme cabin and it was one of the highlights of my trip. So many great things. Immediately the staff was helpful and friendly. The ice rooms are fun and unique and the cabins a cozy place to warm up on additional days while trying activities such as the crab safari. For ice hotel, there is a space to relax and get to know other travelers before going into the cold for the night. At dinner they paired up solo travelers to give us a chance to connect and not feel as though we were eating alone and I found that remarkable. Michael our captain for the Safari clearly loves his job and wants to give you the best experience and Derk was kind enough to take some pictures for me in the snow hotel so I did not have to use all selfies :). I never got his name, but the man in the restaurant who I checked in with was also very kind and helpful. I was only able to make the dinner one night due to my flight schedule, but the food was absolutely amazing. The space was closed for a private event my last day so I did not get to try more delicious morsels. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for fun and unique experiences where the staff really cares about you. Thanks and hope to see you again one day!

A true experience, snow shoeing around the mountain was fantastic. ‘Experiences’ were expensive and a bit canned compared to where we had done similar things elsewhere. But we would fully recommend it. Just catch a cab from airport, about a third of the price of their transfer for two people.easily pre-booked with Kirkenes Taxi. 😁

This is an incredible experience of seeing the arctic, northern lights, crazy nature, and dog sledding. The staff is amazing, the cabins are super cozy and nice, the ice hotel is an experience (you sleep on a sheet of ice in a sleeping bag). Def a trip to remember!

We had a great stay at Snowhotel Kirkenes.
We were well received despite being the only guests in the snow hotel. It was clean, plenty of things to do for a family and the service level was great.
We especially recommend the King Crab Fishing activity which was very memorable. They also have reindeers and husky dogs on site and offer many different activities in the area.

Snowhotel overnight experience was fabulous. Bucket list for arctic circle BIG tick. Very professionally run. Included in snowhotel overnight evening meal and breakfast plus a lounge area for guests to access during the day and evening, setup with hot drinks and biscuits. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sami experience, learning a bit about the culture, to feed those beautiful reindeer and to drive off across the fjord on a huski ride. You are free to experience walks, snowshoeing, patting the huskies. I'd have stayed another night but unfortunately travelling as a single accommodation expenses get a little high when you pay the price of 2, but that is no reflection on this place. The staff are friendly and helpful, another note as a single I love the way the restaurant seating and overnight snowhotel lounge is setup as it forces people to interact with others, far too often travellers will resort to sitting on their own away from others. Have nothing but great things to say about this place, thank you for a wonderful stay ... slept like a baby in King Neptune's room
