The property was nice. The pool there was no hot tub/Jacuzzi the buffet was very expensive but most things in Costa Rica have increased dramatically because of Covid so if you’re looking to go to Costa Rica, take a look at the amenities and excursion cost family of four we were spending about $200 a day, which was ridiculous for Costa each Excursion about $150. We went during the rainy day season because of business reasons, but don’t go in the month. July. The ocean was not good at all, and we were told not to walk at night from the hotel into town, which was not a long walk, but apparently it wasn’t safe. Uber is not regulated so it’s not legal there, but there are a lot of Uber drivers, our room leaking water from the shower and flooding the bathroom. We told them twice so they sent somebody to fix it, but it was never really fixed so we were consequently just having to put lotta towels on the floor and asking for more towels so we could’ve slipped and hit her head, but apparently they didn’t care about that .

I walked in and was forced to sign a piece of paper stating that the any late night guests were an extra $50 charge. It gave me such a gross vibe like they were taxing prostitution. The place is gray all around, the lobby smelled gross, and the hallways were dimly lit. I was in my room for 20 minutes before deciding to walk out on my reservation and decided to stay in Manuel Antonio last minute…. I lost the money o paid but it was worth it to get out of that place.

We loved all the staff members!! So friendly, kind and helpful!! The hotel was so clean, great food options and great service!! I can’t think of a complaint.
