Delightful hotel, very high quality rooms and super comfortable bed and linens. My only complaint is that there were no USB outlets in the room. There were 12 electrical outlets, surely in a 5 star hotel one of these could be changed to a USB port, it is 2024 after all!

The G.A. Palace is absolutely a 5 Star property. From the moment you arrive, the welcome and assistance of staff (most bi/triingual) is just outstanding. The facility is beautifully decorated and appointed; rooms and suites are spacious, with useful and luxurious amenities. The hotel offers an amazing outdor-indoor pool with loungers, sauna, steam room, spa and fitness room. The breakfast is beyond anything I've experienced with a tremendous choice, all fresh, and staff on hand to greet you and assist, pour beverages . The Acqua dining rom is superb - we had an absolutely delicious dinner (our table had chicken and vegetarian main dishes), with helpful service for wine selection as we were not too familiar with Portugese wines. They picked a winer! Plus the hotel is certainley within walking distance of best things and areas to take in (although Porto has hills!) I would absolutely stay here again and can recommend the GA Palace if staying in Porto.

This was a luxurious stay with attentive customer service. The breakfast had an excellent selection of fruits, eggs and pastries, and coffee and egg orders could be taken from the table. Turn down service included and pool has both an indoor and outdoor option. A great stay with easy access across the city.

Amazing hotel and staff, everyone really attentive. Hotel is spotless and the SPA area great. Breakfast buffet has so many options, but you can also have something prepared. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Porto!

Just a buffet for breakfast, no a la carte.Location not very good, and overall i think its an expensive option for Porto which in my opinion at least does not offer VFM.

We loved our stay at the G A. from the moment we were greeted by the staff at the front door! We enjoyed the location and the pool in the late afternoons. The breakfast was outstanding and we would have happily stayed longer.

If you want a beautiful, elegant hotel with staff who would do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible - look no further!!! My only regret was not staying here longer. Having a heated pool in the middle of Porto is an added bonus especially after a day of walking. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very bright and immaculately cleaned. Thank you GA Palace for an amazing stay.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities. The staff are outstanding just so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and happy to help with directions and recommendations whenever asked. Our room was large beautifully fitted and the marble bathroom and shower area equally impressive. Gorgeous shower gels etc liberally refilled when needed. The hotel is very well situated to explore all areas of Porto and approx 10-15 minutes downhill t the Ribiera which is so pretty. Ubers and taxis are easily accessible for trips back if you are tired or a little older like ourselves and not expensive. There is a bus stop right opposite the hotel and metro nearby. The breakfast room ( dining too) is lovely and a huge range of food provided it was a few dry every morning! The pool and spa is a welcome facility at the end of the day and a reasonable size for a city hotel. Unfortunately the old towels on chair problem was evident with sunbeds kept for 3 hours unoccupied on one occasion while we stayed. On discussion with staff they are going to address this so hopefully they can prevent this in the future. We would love to go back to Porto and would definitely choose this hotel again.
