The setting of the property is gorgeous, no question. Beautiful gardens and view. You feel like you're in another world. The rooms lacked one very vital thing--a way to make coffee or tea!! Such an easy thing to provide, and quite necessary for a really comfortable stay. The parking situation is also not ideal, as there simply isn't enough close to the buildings.

Friendly, relaxing, peaceful, convenient to get to Dresden city center. Will stay longer next time for sure!

We visualized to stay in the Castle. They show the Castle as the picture in the bookings but after checkin, they throw you in detached building looks like a normal hotel building. They told us the price will be double if we want to stay in the Castle.

Beautiful castle with rooms both in the castle and in an annex. We stayed in the annex and had a great room, very clean and quiet. Ample free parking. Nice park around the castle with view over the river. Excellent service, we appreciated that we could buy tram tickets in the reception. Tram stop five minutes walk from the castle.

I loved the atmosphere of staying at such an exquisite hotel. It was a castle and that made it so much better. The breakfast provided during our stay was excellent and offered a variety of choice. The area had nice walkways to enjoy. It was very quiet and remote, compared to the downtown hustle.

We stayed at Schloss Eckberg 3 nights. Its a charming place, we liked the ambience, the garden overlooking the river and city beyond. The grounds are lovely, not too manicured. Breakfast is good, well layed out and the service excellent. The rooms are comfortable and neat. Our request for a change of room the next day was complied with a smile. The bed mattress could be more supporting/comfortable or an option of a softer mattress topper would be great, this was my experience. My husband didnt mind it much. Sandeep & Neerja

Eventhough a little high in price; but it was still worth it due to the possibillity to sit on the terass and enjoy the amazing view. Good with free parking and there is a tram stop just outside. Dont miss the Bier Garten at property next door. Also good views but much more reasonable pricing for a self service of snacks and drinks.

Lovely place with beautiful garden. The aise where we were staying was not in the castle (disappointing) but was only a 3mn walk away and was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is well worth it and is located in a very nice room with beautiful view on the Elbe. The one disappointment is the inability to access the river bank, but none of the hotel’s fault!

Really great location and view. Room was nice and staff was friendly. Restaurant was closed when we were there, so unable to comment on that.

Very nice place to stay. It's a bit away from the city centre so it is best suitable if you have a car and know Dresden. Very good breakfast!

20mnts from central station be trum, 5mnts in foot to the reception. The room in castle was very authentic and the view was excellent. Dinner at restaurant, may be French, was beautiful and tasty, especially venison tartar. Everything was great.
