Check in was very helpful and friendly but hotel was very run down and dirty. Not a RR standad quality. We got refund and went next door to a much nicer hotel.

The room was filthy. Bedspreads stained. We went to Walmart and bought bug spray, sleeping bags and pillows

The pictures of this hotel that are posted online or either highly Photoshopped Or were taken 20 years ago. Once we pulled up to the front of the hotel, I knew they were going to be an issue because it looked nothing like the hotel we viewed online. Upon entering the hotel alarm bells begin going off in my head As this was a no smoking hotel yet the aroma of cigarette smoke and pot smoke field the area around the front desk. However, the rooms looked amazing “online” so I wanted to see them. As I walked down the hallway. The smell was no greater nor any less, however, the floor tiles were missing and broken as I walked by the laundry room and Glen inside I could see that it was in disarray and looked very dirty. When I got to my room, the lock that I was to use my key card on had been tampered with and looked broken, but it worked, I open the door and was completely taken back. The room was filthy. Paint was missing on the walls and doors. There was blood on the towels, the bed was broken, Most of the towels on the floor were peeling up or missing, and the door looked like it had been kicked many times from the inside rather than the outside. The bathroom was either uncleaned or never cleaned as the toilet was filthy, the shower had mildew and soap, gum everywhere, and as I said before, there was blood on the towels. I would not stay there with my wife and daughter, it was too filthy and extremely sketchy. We walked in and to the room, then left and drove back home.

Everything in the hotel is absolutely filthy. The hallways look like they haven’t been swept in weeks. floor in our room was dirty had to keep wiping our feet off so we would not get dirt in the bed . There were stains on the bedspread. I would never ever stay here again we have stayed Red roof before I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. I should’ve read the reviews for the warnings and you think that people would clean this place up since they have such bad reviews. Horrible horrible place to stay wish I could’ve switched it, but I don’t know how, I cannot believe hotels.com list this place with all the bad reviews.

Window ledge was filthy and frame warped. Main neefs painted and you can see daylight all around it. Felt very unsafe. Will not recommed to anyone.

Hallways were filthy, doors slammed all night, smelt like cigarettes, needed paint, holes in walls, mice running in hallway, sink did not drain, telephone was broke, room chair seat cover pealing off, stains on bed comforter. Very disappointing to say the least.

We were close to Ark Encounter
The facility was run down. The door going to 2nd level stairs had no hardware, carpeted stairs had dirt and trash leading to the hallway that was not vacuumed. Room air conditioner was not cooling — filter uncleaned and room smelled like smoke!! Do not recommend staying here!!

Do NOT stay at this Red Roof! Nothing in either of the 2 rooms we booked was cleaned or had been cleaned in a long time. There is mold, cobwebs, sticky dirt filled floors, stains, holes in walls, holes in the tub, hair in the sinks and tub.
We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at the last minute and didn’t read reviews first as it was late at night. We were shocked at the state of our rooms and none of the other ones were any better. The owners have let this become a run down, long term low income housing.
We asked for a refund and the front desk gave us back our second nights money and apologized for the lack of cleaning. Because we had checked in past midnight we had to stay that night and I didn’t sleep at all.
It was noisy all night and the police were called by another room due to noise from one of the long term tenants.
We checked in at a different hotel the next day and the lady at the front desk said she used to work at the Red Roof but quit because the owners never put money into cleaning or maintaining the property.

No microwave, no tissues no hair dryer ; bugs, tub so dirty neither of us would bathe in it. staff did move us after I killed a live bug 1 minute after walking in. more dead ones one the floor. a most disappointing red roof .. No breakfast of any kind

The whole building needs an upgrade, it is old. Did like the toilet. The bars in the tub. The flooring needs to be replaced. The pillows were awful. The king bed not to bad.

This place is a nasty hole in the wall. Dirty, holes in wall, chipped paint, door knobs missing, squeaked bed. Just nasty all around. Hallway dirty, tub and toilet dirty. They should update website picture. I will not return or recommend to others.

Booked online, pictures definitely hid The filth. Walked into the room bed looked like it had been used, dirty floors lack of cleaning.
The front desk girl did apologize for the room.

The biggest problem is that many times I could not access the Wifi. The manager admitted that they have had a problem with Wifi access. Needs fixing!!
