Nice hotel for sure

Clean hotel but no a/c or opening window for a new hotel was disappointing. Very poor nights sleep due the hotel room being over 24 degrees during the night. Also, pool facilities closed. Breakfast was very good.

The Hotel ist fantastic. The choice of the breakfast was amazing. So many things to eat. Unfortenatly the Swimmingpool was not functionally.

The room was nice and comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our family. Location was great; only 5 minutes walk to station. Excellent breakfast.

We loved our time at the Thon. We especially enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and the sauna and jacuzzi after long hiking days.

I'd give this hotel a 4 stars because of the breakfast buffet was excellent a lot of choices . But the room are no AC I wish there was a fan it's kinda warm in the room if the window is close, other than that i love the amenities pool,hot tub and saunas. I'd stay in this hotel again. Thank you.

I have stayed at this hotel many, many nights over a couple years. We are very loyal and have always had an excellent time. This time was terrible. The pool was closed. We received no notice about this after booking so I could not cancel my book. My children wanted some fruit during breakfast. They had eaten at 7 am and wanted a "snack" at 9:30. Breakfast closes at 10 am. They denied my children a snack even though it was still within the stated hours of breakfast. I can understand if adults are not allowed but children should be allowed to take a bit of food. Most of it is going to waste anyways so what difference does it make. In almost every hotel I've stayed at around the world, taking a few snacks for my kids have never been an issue, unless otherwise noted on the website or at the breakfast area. I have asked other times and the employees never have a problem with it. Not only that, the employees were laughing and talking about my family in Norwegian as if we did not understand what they were saying. Very poor form. Never talk about clients while working on the floor. There is no reason to laugh or talk about a client. We are paying customers and if we want to get a snack, that should not be a big deal. WIth all the choices for hotel in Oslo, I could use my 2500 NOK a night and spend it somewhere else. We will not return.

We were a family group, 3 generations and the business executive room was perfect. A cot was set up in the room upon arrival and the sofa bed was prepared. All attention was paid to ensure that our arrival was welcoming. The breakfast buffet was superb and the kids loved the pool.

They shoud rename the restaurant the artic circle Meal was excellebt servicr super but the place was cold ruined the whole evening I asked twice for heating but told not possible leasure facitities 10 out of 10 The other facture was someonr managent was eating with 2 friends which no issue however hogging the only table at the fire and no heat coming even from it so i would say great hotel but avoid the evening resturant until they sort the heating

Hotel was very convenient as we were travelling through by road. Good sauna and pool area. Walking distance to the city center and also a Joker-minimarket in the next block. Parking garage also handy if somewhat pricey. We went to dinner to the other Thon hotel, because it was the only restaurant in town with open kitchen after 21.00. Very easy to continue the trip next day to Oslo.
