The welcome at the reception was exceptional and every time we passed through or required help they were happy to help and with a smile. The single bed was not too comfortable but the room was neat and bathrooms cleaned everyday. I would book again because of the receptionists.

Staff were extremely friendly, hotel is clean and appears new. Only downfall was the twin beds, very small, mattress moved around too much

Great location for both transport and walking distance of the central location with the old town being about a 15/20 minute walk. Friendly staff, very accommodating. 4 out of 5, as there was limited storage in the room, and no kettle/hot drink facilities in the room. Otherwise absolutely no complaints.

It was rediculously hot in the room, so hot that sleeping was difficult. The air conditioning could not be turned on to cool the room. Front desk claimed that the use of air conditioning after October 31st is illegal in Switzerland. Maybe so, but it is still up to them to properly control the temperature. My thermometer read 28 deg C. This is unacceptable. It was to noisy to leave the window open to sleep, so every morning I left the window open to cool the room down during the day. Every day the cleaning staff closed the window so this had no effect. We did not get a good night's sleep during the whole stay because of the unreasonably hot temperature. The staff were excellent but could do nothing.

It would have been nice to know the hotel was slap bang in the middle of the red light district! To say the surrounding area at night was intimidating would be an understatement. And I say that as a 6ft 4 man.

Front desk staff was AMAZING! So helpful and accommodating. Area was a little questionable at night, and the room was small. But, it was comfortable and very affordable.

great place to stay if you want to enjoy the walkable distance and proximity of the city center, railroad and bus station and the quietness of the hotel. Staff is kind and welcoming but sometimes too busy and I had a feeling they are trying to avoid spending time with customer and get off with him. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this premise.
