Very convenient hotel for a nights stay before a cruise. Cosy bed and large room. Food in resteraunt was ok but breakfast choice excellent. Good value

Very dirty Carpets in the rooms are stinking Mouldy shower heads The tables were dirty in restaurant and it smells of chip fat. They charge £15 a curry which has come straight out of a microwave on to your table within minutes. We booked here to visit peppa pig world but wouldn’t book again. Room also smells like bad drains

Hotel stay was ok for the night before our cruise but the whole room felt quite dated and stuffy. Bar tender was quite rude, not interested in providing great service, rather swearing and chatting with friends.

Room was good, check in a little slower than ideal. Some areas of the hotel are in need of repair, cleanliness generally ok but lacking attention to detail in some areas. Breakfast was ok, suggest finding a solution to having plates warm as hot items get cold very quickly. Appreciate it was half term, but kids woke me up, screaming and running up and down the corridor in the early morning so did not sleep very well during my stay.

Overall great hotel especially if you have kids rooms clean spacious bed not so comfortable for me but saying that hubby said it was fine. Food reasonable price good amount and tasty breakfast was complimentary and very nice. Would stay again definitely

Hotel was very busy and we found it difficult to find a parking space. The breakfast session was dreadful it was so busy it was unreal, queues everywhere and staff had to rush around to clear tables and stock up. In all the times I’ve stayed in hotels this was the busiest I had ever seen. It was the Southampton boat show week so this is probably why. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. We had to leave early due to an emergency so disappointed we only got a refund of £50 when we paid £300. Overall the holiday inn are pretty decent hotels and you can expect clean and also friendly staff. Use them all the time.

Great value

Stayed here 2 years ago and it was great so we went back. Really needs some renovating as it’s looking and feeling very old and tired. Even the landscaping was not maintained. The morning breakfast was the best! Excellent hot food

Lovely reception staff who sorted different rooms as we had a change of bed needs so we got 2 family rooms next door to each other. Bathroom in need of a deep clean but ok for a one night stay. Car park and restaurant really busy and too many small children running around during breakfast but that’s the parents fault not the hotel!!!
