Casa Italia was a beautiful and luxurious experience. One of the nicest places I have stayed, personally. I usually do more budget travelling, but decided to splurge on this trip and it was well worth it. Very friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful environment on the grounds, very spacious room and the bed was so comfortable to melt into after exploring Havana each day. The pool and outdoor bistro were lovely and the food was great as well. I recommend the octopus carpaccio and the lobster tagliatelle very highly. Would love to return sometime in the future.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, wonderful staff, excellent menu and bar. We stayed in several places as we were travelling throughout Cuba, so arriving back in Havana, we booked into Casa Italia for the last few days of our trip. It did not disappoint, in fact, I hadn’t realised from the website just how lovely it was going to be. We were greeted at the door by Carmen who couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. All the staff throughout are so friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English, which was great as my Spanish is limited. The menu is excellent. Mostly Italian, so it was different from a lot of the food we had encountered throughout Cuba. Lots of great choices and vegetarian friendly. Definitely order the authentic Italian pizza. The pool is a tranquil oasis just outside of central Havana. There were always plenty of beds both in the sun or shade. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with the comfiest beds and linens. If you are looking for a luxury stay in Havana. Look no further, Casa Italia is the place. I’ve stayed in many Five star hotels and this was my favourite.
