Very comfortable stay in a quality hotel next to the historic center

Got there and there was no parking even though it was stated as designated .. you have to reserve and then its 25 euros a night ... so we used a car park. This wasnt the hotels fault but rather the agents.
Next morning our toilet started bubbling and burping which bought small amounts of feaces back up and it also smelt. Went to reception and asked for cleaning materials to use before we used it because of spatter as i knew they couldnt rip the whole sewage system up to rememdy the problem... hotel was also full.
They were helpful enough but offered nothing by way of myself becoming a cleaner for 3 days ... even a bottle of plonk on leaving would have been a gesture... but there was no apology that i had to do that etc. Which is why i wont use this hotel again.
But its a good location and the breakfast was amazing. Staff were generaly polite and freindly.
It was just the loo issue ... which was actually a pretty serious one.. of which i have videos ... but was handled wrong. If this hadnt happened this hotel would be my go to for brugge

We loved Grand Normandy Hotel. The lobby is great as there is a connect 4 and chess board while waiting. There is a bar with a good range of drinks as well, and the staff are incredibly helpful and positive.
The breakfast is magic. Best hotel breakfast I've had in Europe. Nice touch with the free sweets in and around the hotel and the complimentary biscuits when we left.
The swimming pool is warm and there are plenty of towels and loungers. We will definitely be back to Bruges and the Grand Normandy!

Would have liked more breakfast teabags in room. And milk rather than cream would have been better for tea. But this is just an English thing!

Just a short walk outside Bruges center, room was nice and decent size. Bathroom was good but the soap dispenser kept falling off the wall. The sheets on the king bed were too small and would roll off every time we laid on the bed. That was annoying. AC worked like a charm. Breakfast was fantastic. Wish the coffee machine was 24/7 though.

My room had a shower within the bath and it was a tight squeeze to take a showe,next time have a room with shower only.Room was very clean,very pleased with it otherwise.

Family of 4 (2 adult kids) stayed here 2 nights during our 2 week European vacation. What a delight! The family room had fabulous bedding and luxury bathroom. We even had a view! And the staff was so friendly and helpful. Checkin was smooth. The hotel is a great location and best food and shops are an easy walk. We enjoyed the huge open farmers market on our first day and enjoyed great beer and chocolate. What a great city and hotel!

The room was comfortable. The staff was kind and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty. It was a longer walk than staying in the middle of Bruges, but definitely an easy walk. Great place to stay with kids in town

Great stay albeit just half a night and a morning.
Very friendly staff. Nice little pool, although not for splashing of fun according to the signs.
Nice big and clean room.
Parking is a little bit of a nightmare though, best bet is parkering garage underground a decent walk from the hotel.
