Excellent room! Room was clean, everything worked as it should, bed was comfortable, themed decor made it feel more inviting. Overall, room was easy to relax in.

Great customer service when checking in. My kids loved the pool area and had a great time. The hotel and room was very clean as well. The only thing I didn’t realize when booking, was that you had to purchase tickets for the pool area separate, and that it wasn’t included in the room price. I feel like it should have stated that was a separate fee during the booking. But we did get a discounted price for the pool, with our stay.

Our kid loves the waterpark although I still think with the price you pay for rooms it should be included and not an extra fee.

Staff is always great. Love the location. But the building is really showing it's age. Shower handle was broken. Bathroom walls were pretty beat up. Toilet wouldn't flush. AC was as loud as a NASCAR race. Bedding was clean.

It was a really good stay and we enjoyed the room and my daughter enjoyed the pool. There was a very weird smell in the lobby area every day, but it did not go to the hotel or rooms. I think may have been bad water in the carpet cleaner.

Nice hotel but wristbands to the water park used to be included and no longer are and breakfast passes used to be included and no longer are.

We booked a room checkin September 29th and checked out yesterday September 30th - we were staying at Room 612. We checked out yesterday around 10 am and drove back to Canada. I called before 12 noon and spoke to the front desk to inform that we left our clothes by the room closet (clothes were put in the hanger). I was told that when the housekeeping clean our room, I will receive a phone call to make arrangements to ship the items. However, until today nobody contacted me. I called this morning but was told that nothing was left in the room. So frustrating since I called right away after we checked out. Nobody contacted me from the hotel. So unhappy with the customer service.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though there’s supposedly no smoking at this hotel, everything I had with me reeked of it the next morning and my sinuses were messed up for a week. Also the deadbolt lock was broken and didn’t lock so I was constantly getting up to check the door all night long and got no quality sleep. Regretted my choice of staying here.

The entire reason I booked the hotel was to use the water park only to find out the day after we check in that it is closed the days we are there. The page given at check in said the water park was open, the website said it was open, and when we spoke to the staff working at the water park desk that we intended to go the next day they did not tell us it was closed. We were extremely disappointed. The breakfast restaurant was also mediocre

Overall the hotel is great! Our check-in was fast and easy! The hotel was clean. I only have a couple of small recommendations/suggestions:
1. The fan in our room #204 that funneled air into the bunk room was SO loud. It was hard to sleep with it on but it got way to warm in the bunk room to not have it on.
2. We did the buffet in the restaurant on Sunday morning. The items on the buffet are a normal FREE continental breakfast at most hotels. Mediocre at best. We paid $10.99 per person. For some reason we were unable to dish up our own continental breakfast so portion sizes were very small. While I realize you can go back I think we could easily dish up our own eggs and bacon and not have to go back.
I will certainly stay again!

A breaker blew so we had no electricity in our bathroom. When we tried to check in multiple times we were told we were on thr "priority" list when a roomwas ready...3 hours later and chemcjng bback several times was still told jo room and I said I had been waiting for 3 hours...then magically a roomwas ready when a lady said to give me a room...

We requested a new sheet twice and never did receive it throughout the duration on our stay. We also stayed 3 nights and never had our room cleaned. We were heading out as housekeeping was outside our door so we thought they’d have cleaned it at that time.

We had a nice time however the wifi was out in the room the entire time we were there which was difficult to stay in touch with work and to keep the kids occupied in the room. We had a theme room which was Mario brothers and were disappointed with the lack of theme as there was a total of 2 posters with characters and that was all. For the most part we had a good time just the wifi was a big disappointment

The best part about this hotel is the water park.
The kids bunks are great, finally enough room for a family to stay in. The room itself seemed very aged. The air conditioner wasn’t getting cold enough and it was quite warm in the bunk room. The bathroom shower head was shaking when the water was turned on hot. You could tell the age of the rooms but like I also said it was enough room for all of us to stay in and the pool was great fun!

My daughter loves travelling but doesn’t love hotels because they can seem dingy, overused, unwelcoming / scary. We’re both cautious about signs of “ick”in hotels. We LOVED this hotel because it was clean and calming and comfortable. She loved the water park and spent hours each day making friends and enjoying the slides and pools and lazy river. The price was very reasonable for a hotel that is obviously properly cared for and offers 3 or 4 restaurants on site and so many things for families to enjoy (water park and arcades area). It’s attached to the Alerus centre too, which is really convenient for checking out a game or concerts. We were very happy with our stay and I don’t think we’ll be staying anywhere else when visiting Grand Forks now.

Over priced and lame. the theme room was a poster. our room was small halls ways were loud our room was not very clean our fridge was leaking the smell from the carpet was nasty. As well my kids found things under the bed. The pool was crazy loud my kids were plugging there ears most the time and you could barely hear the person next to you

They should vacuum the lobby, as we stepped out of the elevator to got to the waterpark I stabbed my foot with a very tiny sharp object. Our kids had fun. The water park is okay. If it wasn't for the slides it would be a boring water park. Our bed was extremely squeaky, they should check the bed frame. Food was okay, nothing fancy. Some of the bacon looked and tasted like they re-fried it and mixed with fresh ones. The scambled eggs were horrible. Nice crew though, friendly.
