Went for business, arrived late, easy parking, easy check in, easy navigation of hotel.

Nice room. Full breakfast. One night stay. Walk 2-3 blocks to cute historic downtown. Front desk helped with good suggestions for the area.

We always enjoy our stays here. The staff is courteous, helpful & accommodating. The room was very clean & perfectly stocked. Due to illness we were able to get a later checkout. We look forward to returning again soon.

Hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was one of my favorites of any hotel I’ve stayed in. Liked that the happy hour was later than most. The staff friendly and helpful. If in the area again would definitely book here again.

Stay here at least once a year and always feel welcome. Service is always friendly and great. In a convenient area and within walking distance to downtown.

Great hotel walkable to town.

Wonderful hotel. Staff were great, clean comfortable room. Walkable to lots of shopping and food.

First, the hotel is beautiful, and clean inside. The gentleman who served drinks and breakfast is wonderful!! My complaint (and I'll offer suggestions) ... 1. You charged $65 for my dog, but you have NO pet area outside...is my dog supposed to pee and poop in the room?? Can you just create a grassy space, 20x30 would be enough, so we don't have to leave the property to walk the dog? 2. There were 2 different homeless men living in your parking lot ..yes, on hotel property in the parking lot. We had no idea if they were dangerous. Your community can offer low cost housing assistance, help finding employment, mental health care or help with addictions. If those men refuse help, take them to JAIL!!! Your guests should not have to worry about being attacked, or having their vehicle broken into. We choose to stay in your town so we could feel safe... I think we were mistaken.

This is the second time I stay at the Gold Miners Inn. The first time was about 4 years ago and I had a great experience. I didn’t expect it to look the same 4 years later. A lot of hotels deteriorate throughout the years but you can tell this one is taken care of. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at A LOT. The staff is friendly, there’s easy parking, and it’s quiet. Loved it.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The rooms were really great, clean, comfortable, and beds were the best bed of any hotel we’ve ever stayed. Breakfast was delicious too. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Just a great hotel, we will always stay here when in town.

I would never stay here again. The property and rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly. But at around 1:30am a man swiped a key card In my door and entered my room with me in bed. He looked around the room and went thru my wallet and took the cash I had in there. He was in my room a total of less then 5 min. After he left I immediately packed my stuff and left on my way out I had planned to tell the person at the front desk about my experience but there was no one around very unprofessional! I give this hotel negative 5 stars! Yeah for 200$ a night you’d think you’d at least have an on duty clerk 24 hrs a day and no creeps in your room! Do better gold miner inn!

Always nice and clean…staff is very friendly. The drink tickets, complimentary bottles of water are a very nice touch in customer service. The breakfast is also always great.

Love Grass Valley and Nevada City, stayed most places available at one time or another and this is the best. Be nice to have an openable window, but thermostat functions properly, but unit is loud when running. Comfy reception area with fake breakfasts, but no there there. Very good bed, could use TV upgrade to much bigger screen. Quiet in the rooms.

Italian food right across the street, coffee roaster one block, river fun close by.
