Every thing was just okay. It was just a place to stay with a reasonable price for our one night in Vancouver for Taylor Swift concert.

I booked this place because I wanted all three of us to have our own bed so that everyone would sleep well. As pictured in the listing there are a king sized bed, a full and a twin, all shown with bedding. When we arrived the twin did not have bedding so I asked the owner for some and they refused. "You are asking for five people's bedding. The room price for five people is different."
So buyer beware, or bring your own bedding.
That said I'm still not sure it's worth your money, it's a damp smelling basement that isn't very clean (a former occupant's fake eyelashes were on the bedroom floor, the walls and doors and furniture is dirty (a clump of hair hanging from a kitchen chair, mildew in the shower, the peel and stick decor over the stove literally melting off the wall.) What bedding they do provide is just a bottom sheet and then a top lightweight duvet. No extra blankets if you run cold, 4 bath towels and one hand towel, no washcloths. All of this in the boondocks for over $160 USD.

Room 3 suite was adequate but definitely lacking. Was okay for overnight stay but wouldn’t recommend. The website listing was difficult to determine which features applied to which room. Room 3 has single over double bunk bed in main room with terrible mattresses. Dorm refrigerator and microwave. Coffee maker, sink and dining table are on back porch. No other cooking equipment. Very limited parking.

Traveled with family, had a great stay at this property and owners were quick to respond to requests. However, the bunk mattresses and TV requires upgrades, other than that we had a lovely stay 😀

I should have listened to those negative reviews. We were given room B2 and I wonder why they opened it up for business.
I hope Expedia will do routine check and raise their standards in posting AirBnb/hotels in their Apps.

I did not receive the information about checking in from the host. I had to call them to get it. Not having ample parking was an issue too. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. The walls were thin amd you could hear people in other rooms talking.

Great potential, but very poorly maintained and cleaned. The place desperately needs some TLC and a thorough deep cleaning.
For a rental suite it is not well cared for. REALLY did not appreciate how i booked it on a “reserve now, pay later” basis with the “knowledge of what said was a good cancellation policy and turned out to be a complete lie. I was charged in full immediately and was unable to cancel without loosing half of my money. Kept the reservation purely out of a refusal to give them my money for nothing. Would not stay again based solely on that dishonesty.

In general it needed some repairs and more dishes. All and all I would rent here again. It was very convenient, felt safe walking dog, it felt secure. It is a single house who converted basement to be to separate units. I believe they rent rooms above as well. Again I would come back, it checked all the boxes for what we all needed.
