This is by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed in, this guest house is immaculate. The host are absolutely brilliant and the service they offer is fantastic. Breakfast is on a different level, everything you could possibly want and the young lad serving us was so smartly dressed and so very polite. Anytime we are going to Ayr again we will definitely be looking to stay here

Full breakfast was available in addition to the continental breakfast. The staff was very helpful. Clean and quiet room in the Historical District of Arr. Local golf course was within walking distance.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Lochinver House. Sinclair, our terrific host, was very helpful before and during our stay. This a is beautiful B&B, on a quiet street in a picturesque Scottish town. The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms very comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. If you’re looking for a quiet place and an authentic Scottish experience, this is it!

I loved my stay here and wish I had longer in Ayr. My room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The cookies were delicious. Breakfast was very tasty. Sinclair was very helpful and welcoming. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

If you can mange to stay at Lochinver in the spring, it is stunning. When in bloom this must be one of the most beautiful streets. The host was also very friendly and informative, and the breakfast was delightful.
There are a lot of stairs if your room is on the top floor though, if that's an issue, but the rooms are very comfortable.

great stay Sinclair is a smashing host nothing is a bother the room was great spotlessly clean and comfy bed also loved all the wee extra touches in the breakfast loved the cuckoo clock and the chandilier

Wonderful period property on a tree lined road in Ayr. The cherry trees were in full bloom when we stayed. The host, Sinclair, was very welcoming when we arrived and took the time to recommend restaurants etc nearby.
Our room was very comfortable with a kingsize bed. The room was very quiet, didn't hear any noise at all. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided with the addition of a jar of lovely shortbread biscuits! Room cleaned and bed made every day of our stay, towels replaced as required. All in all a perfect place to stay within walking distance of the beach and town. Highly recommended.
