Excellent location and great value. Rooms are small with basic furnishings but beds were good quality and everything was clean and working. The bathroom was tiny and could do with more hooks/shelves but there was plenty hot water and fresh towels. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room and this had to be bought if you wanted a cuppa out with breakfast hours. Breakfast had a hot and cold buffet which had a good choice. We went half board because the extra cost was so minimal - worth it If you’re on a budget but not if you’re fussy. We stayed in Horitzo but had to cross to Sol for meals. Fabulous location, especially if you had a balcony overlooking the beach, like me. I only had the breakfast which i paid for, it was 8 euros and well worth it. The bedrooms and facilities were very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the best sleep I have had in years. I will definitely be booking again.

Do not stay at this hotel! One of the rooms issued to our party had bed bugs. This wasn't spotted until the next morning and the individual was covered in bites. When it was brought to the attention of the manager she was aggressive, unsympathetic and said that we had picked them up at the airport. Another room was provided but no apology.

This hotel is right on the beach, which means that you can easily go back in to use toilets and showers, which I found really useful. Unfortunately the pictures on this ads are mostly for the sister establishment, JS Picafort. JS Horitzo in fact is much smaller. Booked into JS Horitzo but was given a room in its sister hotel JS Can Picafort, just across the street. Hotel is very clean, staff are friendly and efficient. The location is excellent, hotel is right on the beach. Downsides: I was half board but the food wasn't great and the toiletries, in my room weren't replenished at all during my stay.

The bed was good, the A/C was good, the view was not great, but other rooms I could tell had a great view! The food was sometimes delicious and sometimes not so great. The shower was very small. The beach was super super close and beautiful! The Can Picafort area is amazing! I enjoy that beach for sure! I would say that it was quite easy to hear all the noise of the other rooms.

Good value for money. Ideal location and excellent customer service. Wasn’t expecting much for the breakfast so was pleasantly surprised by all the choice and quality. The only downside was that the pool is a short walk away. Therefore we didn’t use it.

It was a very old hotel in an excellent location. We had a balcony with sea view. It was comfortable and clean although could do with being modernised. We would return.

This hotel is very well used, almost everything inside bathroom is about to fall apart. However, hotel staff makes everything possible to make you happy. Breakfast is pretty good. This location is loved by German tourists, therefore, do not expect the hotel staff to be super fluent in English. Do not get stuck at the beach, although it is very beautiful, as soon as you arrived make arrangements to visit Dragon caves and other amazing places near by (ask the receptionist). Public transportation is convenient and cheap, although bus service from Can Picafort stops around 8pm. On the roof of the hotel there is solarium - really nice view from there!

Although the hotel is looking rather tired, its sister hotel is just across the road where you go to reception, breakfast etc. The pool is also away from the hotel but is worth the walk because it is so quiet and never over crowded. The rooms are adequate and cleaned every day. My only complaint was that the balcony was very small.

Nice stay in Ca`n Picafort! JS Horitzo is a okay hotel. First we thought we had arrived Fawlty Towers. The reception was a case of its own. However they gave us a room that was nice. Thet fridge mentioned in the hotels own following papers is just balony. And... there is a locker in the room whith drawers... don`t "open" it! It`s a 3.bed!!!! Cleaning is very good. Location very good. Balconies a little to small. AC-system not to good. Germans all over the place, but they are everywhere. Most of the Spanish took us for Germans and spoke to us in German. If you`re not offended by this, this is a really nice place. Recomend also Horitzo Bar, cheap and clean!
