On arrival at midnight asked to pay £25 to park my car for the night. When queried the response was simply “ nothing I can do about it”

This was an overnight stay as we had an early flight out of Gatwick. The hotel was not what I am used to for the Accor group. The food was clearly frozen stuff and very oily. They even managed to give us the wrong order. I asked for Soya milk for my tea and they had run out.
Toiletries were scarce, just the basic shower gel and shampoo.
The staff were really great though and the airport shuttle even though there was a £5 per person, was convenient and efficient. Luckily it was only one night!

Check in staff was very friendly but appear to be understaffed. Hotel looks to have been recently renovated and very clean. Did not advertise that parking was extra 25 pounds/night. Hallway has new carpeting and very neat but has a ?musty odor that they should try to get rid of. Smells like a nursing home/care facility.

A clean room and comfortable bed close to the airport. Staff friendly and proffesional. Typical fried food kichen, bar open 24/7 has some committed users. Good choice however there were occasional noise like a broken fan or alarm a few floors away that was a an annoyece for 2 days

I have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 months, mainly because it is close to my Company HQ. I asked for a receipt when checking out, but they refused to give me one, due ti the fact that hotels.com booked it through a third party booking agent.it was a case of "The computer says No!"

A very 'by the book' Ibis Styles hotel. It was ok, not great. On arrival reception was chaotic, no improvement since my previous stay around a decade ago. The room had been given the 'once over' but not deep cleaned, there were isolated hairs and marks on the bedding. Noisy pipes would have kept me awake but I was totally gone after flight complications and just crashed anyway, as did my spouse. Breakfast was average, had to request a milk substitute from the bar and was given just enough to portion two cups of coffee. The area was very noisy with a large group of children playing a table football game, not a good atmosphere for breakfast, but can't blame the hotel staff for that - more the design putting too much too close.
