Generally the smallish Hotel was good. But what completely spoilt it as a b&b was having to order the breakfast via an app!! With dodgy Wifi in my experience. Life is stressful enough without apps for breakfast! The poor waiter spent half his time sorting people’s phones out! No phone, therefore unable to order??? Need an extra slice of dry bread? Do it via the app! Ridiculous and just a bit laughable. Even the Italians there were laughing at it. Sorry but we will not be back…..

Despite the heavy train strike in Italy now the hotel refuse to refund my money, not only unfair but greedy and embarrassing for any respected establishment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, no respect for tourism.

Beautiful place, lousy tub in our room, no shower no curtain, can’t stand up. Dangerous conditions for showering in the room we got. The grounds and pool beautiful. The room was nice a bit dark.

This is not a luxury hotel or 4-star Hotel as advertised. Despite being tucked right next to the Motorway, the house and the compound itself is quite nice and has potential. However the service, upkeep and cleanliness of the whole place needs improving. The rooms and bathrooms are dark, old, the bed and linen were old and uncomfortable. Staff can barely speak English and communication was exhausting, as it led to a lot of misunderstanding. Breakfast was also very limited. Dining in general is extremely limited.

Beautiful classic Italian villa near everything in Bari. Nice pool and grounds. Breakfast was excellent too

I might have had bad luck on this, but the restaurant were closed, the breakfast had cold blant omelettes and it seemed like the hotel had seen better days. Black mold in the bathroom that really made it hard to spend any time at the room. The pool area was excellent, however. To summarize: The pool area was indeed worth its 4-star rating. My room and the food offered on the other hand… 2-star at best.

There is no restaurant and the food they can offer is extremely basic....a blonde toastie which I would do a million times better. It is easy to have some basic food options even on the minimal staff they are operating on. On the plus side the pool we thought and the garden was epic but my partner was eat alive by mosquitos on the beautiful balconies so be wary

The hotel and rooms were excellent, as was the service but the pool was dirty and needed cleaning - there was green slime growing on the walls and base of the pool and the outside tables had not been cleaned for weeks. The grass areas around the pool were neglected and the grass clearly had not been cut for weeks and was 200mm high.

A little bit far from the city but accessible by the car.

A great little spit on a blind highway corner. What a beautiful building, warm welcome and a clean fresh room. Our daughter sings and makes a grab for the oil painting. We thought it would be bliss. At 7 we are exhausted and starving, how un-Italian. The restaurant was due to open in thirty, we can wait. Skip forward an hour and thirty and it’s still a mosquito infested furnace downstairs with a disinterested mobile phone clasping patron who keeps telling us about an invisible event as a valid excuse for horrid service. We give up, go to the room, complain and ask nicely for some food in the room. We ask for red wine. White comes. We pour it and it looks like sherry mixed with orangina. We call to reception and repeat ourselves again. ‘There is a problem’. The waiter comes and apologises, bring us some basic but tasty grub, our daughter finally sleeps and we follow. The next morning we get the worst coffee we’ve had in 4 years living in Italy. It’s flat, cold, gritty and a bit like a swamp water. The reception asks ‘oh was it too strong?’. The condensention doesn’t land. I think the untrained teenager was the problem. The damp single omelette is cold and soggy as all the kit is unplugged. We ditch out on breakfast and head out. The meal from the previous night costs us €54 and we argue about it driving to the airport. Shame really.
