Amazing stay comfortable bed, very clean room and bathroom, dinner was delicious food, breakfast was very good to, guy who served us was very upbeat and on point, worth a visit, we would definitely recommend and go back.

A great place to stay close to Lynton and Lynmouth. Lovely walks in and around Wayersmeet.
Very comfortable room in a pub in an old environment.

Our stay at the Blue Boar was very comfortable and welcoming particularly as we had a dog.We had a lovely sized room with very comfortable beds and beautiful white crisp cotton bedding. The bath was large with piping hot water- lovely to relax in after a days walking. The food was exceptionally good in the evening and the breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of cooked options. We are definitely going to return when we are in the area again.

Fantastic place to stay!!! Dog friendly and kid friendly pub. Games room kept our 9 year old entertained. Traditional pub with great food!!! Breakfast was outstanding. Peaceful nights sleep in a comfortable and spacious room. All the staff were very friendly. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Lovely countryside pub. Great food and good sevice from the hard working staff. Sat out on patio for drinks in the sun. Our room had a beautiful view down the valley. Very quiet at night.

It was one of my favorite stays on my Southwest Coast Trail journey. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The meal was outstanding. I would highly recommend.

Perfect little Inn for a getaway, rooms were adequate and newly fitted bathroom spotless. All staff were so friendly and accommodating. Ultra dog friendly establishment.

Excellent location to the moors, the East Lyn river and Lynmouth. The Bly drawback is the uphill walk back to the hotel after a day of walking the area.

This is our second visit the first one 5 years ago
The same family still own the Blue ball.
The food is great a small but very good menu it covers all tastes and the portions a very good and value for money, we have still not managed a sweet next time maybe.

Really nice place, can’t really find fault, the food was absolutely fabulous, as was the service given by everyone ,and it was very clear it was because they really cared ,not because they are told to.
Fantastic if you’re a dog owner and still fun if not , did not smell of dogs at all. Dogs are made very welcome, and the town of Lynmouth is simply stunning, Recommended

The Blue Ball Inn is a great place to stay. The only real downside to the stay was the fact that they could not provide Wheat and Gluten free bread or cereal for my wife at breakfast. As these are readily available I can not understand why neither are stocked. Apart from that gripe everything else was very good.

Amazing relaxing stay, great food, great spotless and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and the most breathtaking of views. What more could you ask for? 😊

The welcome we received was wonderful. The natives were friendly, the food was very good and the scenery spectacular in this lovely area of North Devon.
The owners and staff were very attentive and our only adverse comment would be that the bed could have been more comfortable. It has taken us over fifty years to rediscover this delightful area of Devon that we had almost forgotten and it hasn't changed a bit. we also took the opportunity to visit friends in the area from our youth that we hadn't seen in a long time.
I suspect we'll be back again soon.
