I have traveled all over the world. Never have I encountered a better stay than at Hotel Locarno at one of the most strategic locations in Rome. You won´t be sorry.

Beautiful hotel right by the piazza del popolo. The hotel bar/restaurant is fantastic - both food and drinks. The staff were incredible. Looking forward to staying here again the next time I'm in Rome!

Amazing hotel, very comfortable bedding and pillows. Overall everything was wonderful. If I had to say something negative, it would be that the roof top bar was closed and I wish that was mentioned prior to booking!

The hotel was welcoming on first sight and we were quickly assisted by staff for car parking, staff were all very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful and efficient- the room and hotel interior were beautiful and breakfast was amazing, the best scrambled eggs ever! We had an amazing couple of hours in the bar, Giulio was such a responsive bar tender, engaging, funny, great conversation and mostly - made some of the best cocktails we have tasted! Alessandro was a great person to have around too - they both made us feel so welcome - despite some questionable football team choices 😂 we will definitely be returning!

Superb hotel, designed in an old style luxury. The things that made this hotel so good for us were the staff and the breakfast. We spent an hour and a half each morning over the most beautiful breakfast. Whilst this was magnificent, the staff were even better. They could not have been more helpful, welcoming and friendly. We absolutely loved this hotel. Our favourite hotel in Rome up until now was the Waldorf Astoria, but whilst smaller, this is better.

The staff was incredibly accommodating during our stay. It is our first time in Rome and the bar has been set high with Hotel Locarno. The rooms were very clean, breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Also, very walkable to most major destinations in the area.

Excellent location. Staff lacking old school traditional hotel hospitality culture. Hotel focused on visitors coming to hotel bar and patio, that generate a little bit of avoidable noise. The Expedia VIP 85 euro voucher was apparently converted into a 36 euro amount to be used on final food and beverages bill. When at bar, I requested a room service club sandwich to be taken to room, but nobody offered to bring tray to the quarters, which I ended up doing myself (and no napkins!). The best: silent air con in room and delicious breakfast, albeit very little explanation of what the offers on menu consisted of. The hotel, that is a gem, must request a dress code. Sloppy underdressed guests and visitors do not honour the exquisite venue. If these issues are not addressed adequately, the whole charm of the experience will become a mediocre ordeal.

The people at the hotel are amazing and Very Helpful. We have stayed twice at this hotel and we would return again. We loved our breakfast every morning and the Concierge is amazing to find tickets for music and opera.🌹🌹🌹
