It’s a bit inconvenient to get to the hotel from Termini Station using public transport, especially with luggage. the breakfast is excellent, and the reception managers are incredibly professional, friendly, and thoughtful, which left a great impression. The hotel is in a lively street with lots of local vibes. The room and bathroom are a bit small, but the bedding is very comfortable.

We had stayed here before and loved it so we came back. This time we had a much smaller room and even though the days were warm, the hotel turned the AC off and switched to heat. Sleeping was hard as the rooms were hot and uncomfortable. The rooftop bar was great and the staff wonderful.

To be honest I was a little underwhelmed by the actual hotel, maybe it just wasn’t the hotel for me. the rooms are tiny but clean. Unfortunately the AC control was malfunctioning so didn’t work. Front office staff were efficient. Must compliment the breakfast team, good choices and fab coffee. The location is great and all of Rome’s sights are easily within walking distance. There is a plethora of dinning options at the front door. Also a supermarket just 100 metres away. A good 3 star hotel in an excellent location.

This was a delightful find. Right in the center of Rome but well insulated from noise. The hotel and staff were all wonderful. I will definitely stay there again

Classy hotel in a convenient location. Breakfast was plentiful, coffee was excellent and Service by the Staff was attentive and professional. However, Room was so small I had to step over my suitcase to get to the bathroom. Otherwise, very good!

Ceasar at reception recommended some great options for local dining even though I had a list and they were awesome. We walked everywhere and came home late after listing to the street entertainment. We stayed in the annexe building. Breakfast was good.

The property is located in the heart of Rome near amazing restaurants and several shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was small but it had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend Hotel Smeraldo!

We stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and it has greatly improved. The dining area is no longer downstairs but on the ground floor and is nice and modern. A great variety of food to choose from for breakfast. The room has also been refurbished and was comfortable. Staff are very nice.

The location is great. Very clean room. Mostly friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Our only issue was the room temperature that never went below 77 degrees. When I asked about it at the front desk, the young man basically scolded me for touching the thermostat (something that I’ve done at every hotel I’ve ever stayed in). Since the room was damp and humid, all of our clothes were damp. I slept on top of the bedspread. We would not stay here again.
