The weather was horrendous due to storm Darragh! Granted we were slightly early to arrive but no info on whether room would be available before just "well check in isnt till2!". It was a little abrupt. We were advised it was 1.5 miles to town centre and that it could be walked. However when we attempted there were no footpaths and you had to go over motorway very dangerous also was more like 3 miles to centre ended up getting a taxi.

Really lovely stay. Ultra clean in all areas, spacious reception, friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. We decided to book the breakfast on our 2nd day and it was fabulous - a full cooked breakfast, as well as a choice of cereals, breakfast orange, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and a fancy coffee machine! We had 3 dogs with us and my mum has mobility issues, but all so well catered for. Very impressed!

Staff very friendly but room although clean, felt tired and run down. Carpet thread bare, no heating in bathroom and the mattress base stained. The mattress was so uncomfortable - like sleeping on a trampoline. Husband and i did not sleep well and had bad backs.

Being a motorway services, you could even buy things from WH Smiths at 3am if you needed to.
The staff were nice and the hotel was ok for us. Would use again.

Great stop over to break up a long journey from Scotland. Easy check-in, with parking sorted easily. The room was far superior to what i was expecting for the price, especially the bathroom.

This hotel is on a motorway service station, but don't let that put you off. It is clean, tidy, good breakfast, spotless rooms and a good bar. I would certainly use again.
As an added extra M&S, Greggs within metres on the entrance so no shortage of food or drink available.

It’s a service station hotel, so did not have high expectations. However, it was well kept and convenient. Breakfast wasn’t the best I’d seen at a hotel but it was suffice. Overall a decent stay.

Very convenient and numerous options in the service station to eat. Staff at the reception area were excellent and room was clean and comfortable.

We arrived and the sofa bed/extra bed was not made up so had to ask reception and wait over for bedding to be provided. Not a major issue as it was rectified but not ideal when travelling with a tired child to just needed to go to bed

We arrived early for check-in and got to our room with no problem. The room was very clean and warm enough. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast £10 if booked inadvance.11.50 if booked on the day. free parking. A few food outlets nearby
