The room was good but there were open cans in the fridge when we arrived and the staff's English level was so low it was hard to communicate. Some orders we made via phone never arrived or the wrong thing got delivered. Breakfast was ok but service was not able to communicate with us due to the language barrier. I would've expected English service since it's an international hotel.. I mean the hotel name is "intercontinental"

I booked four reservations, this is first review,
Without Swimming pool and spa, i will choose other hotel if got notice before, other three rooms still staying a few more day. definitely will leave same review later, calling service from room and no one is answer for long time. Last really bad traffic chaos at hotel front, disturbing and annoying, negative energy keep hearing yelling, car honks, and stuck.
hope the manager could contact to discuss what happen to the no answer from room, no swimming pool and spa. and still charging extra this extra that.....TE

The staff was very nice. The lobby and room were very beautiful for the first signs. My eyes later got tired because the decor is extremely busy.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to some outstanding restaurants in the city. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful time. The only pity is that the pool is under renovation and not open during our stay.

This is an iconic hotel: everyone in town recognizes it immediately and its the backdrop to Sanlitun and all the lights. It is a modern, stylish hotel in the heart of one of Beijing's most exciting neighborhoods. The hotel is super clean, and the service is very good. The hotel facilities are excellent including great restaurants (with a Michelin star steakhouse) and a great pool/gym/spa area. The rooms are spacious, well thought out and full of nice touches such as air purifiers and lots of plugs.
The neighborhood is full of shopping, amazing restaurants and always buzzing.

Beautiful property, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, the only downside, if there is one, is hard to have visitors in and out as hard to get cars in and park.
