The room had a lot of damage to it. We went to use the pool and hot tub they both had nasty mold/mildew stuff floating and in the bottom. We won’t stay here again.

Very nice, new property a couple of miles south of Durango. It is in a relatively new area, but still had some shopping and a few places to eat without having to drive into town if you didn’t want. There is access to the river walk close by, and the drive into town is only about 5 minutes. We actually enjoyed not being in the middle of the busy tourist area of the city. But, if that is your thing, you would likely prefer a different location.

Very pleased with the hotel! Everything was clean...our suite, the hallways, the elevator, the lobby and the breakfast area. The price was right for a family of 4 and we immensely enjoyed the breakfast. The selection of breakfast foods was wonderful. Made a great start for our days of exploring the Durango area. We will definitely recommend Main Stay Suites to family and friends!

Let's start with the good stuff. This property was easily accessible, clean rooms, and very comfortable beds. The breakfast options weren't to bad and there was definitely a variety. The surrounding area was quiet and we even walked to Walmart which was nearby. The one major thing that bothered me was seeing a young man working in the food area. He was taking out the trash, as he was walking by a customer asked him to refill the pancake mix. He grabbed the mix, didn't wash his hands, refilled the container and popped it back in. To top it off, he was not in uniform, had a hair pick/comb in his fro with no hairnet. It is definitely something that needs to be addressed. The other concern was the pool, it definitely needs a good cleaning, maybe re-surfacing? Seemed like the bottom was peeling.

Had an issue with the toilet as soon as we got there but they quickly moved us to another room and no issues with that one. The workers tending to the breakfast had no hairnets on. Pool could have been cleaner but overall a good stay can’t complain.

I've stayed in Durango many times and this was another great stay in this small mountain town. The hotel was clean and well maintained other than some young men in the room next to me on our last night that got a little roudy but tis life, over all it was a great stay

I was disappointed when I got here to hotel and realized it was the other half of the Sleep Inn. I stayed here two years ago and had the unfortunate accident leaving the room. The threshold was raised more than normal and black. I could not see the raised amount , had an armful of luggage etc and fell ver hard against s the opposite hall wall. Hurt my shoulder and ribs very bad. I reported the incident - think maybe I hit a free room but was not interested. I also found the bath without grab bars. I vowed I would not staying. That hotel ever and here I am. I say nothing in the ad that told me it was a part of the sleep inn. I’m being very careful walking out the door.

Why do I use third party booking apps. This room cost me $40 more through expedia. Never going to happen again. Both priceswine and exploitia over charge and priceswine represents filthy hotels.
