The bed was comfortable and the pillows were adequate. However, The room carpet and floor felt dirty. The shower floor was extremely slippery and was a bit precarious getting in and out. We had to unplug the room’s clock because it was making noise. We stayed at this property last year but it is not as good as then.
The shuttle to the airport we reserved for 6:30 am left us and we had to scramble to get to the airport. The driver was rude and left well before the 6:30 time. We had already paid to park at the hotel but ended up going across the street to The Spot to park to get a shuttle to the airport. It was extremely stressful and in our opinion should not have happened.

I found my way around and went walking and it only took me about 30 mins to walk to a big shopping Mall, big Thrift Store, Olive Garden and when I asked any of the Staff about where to find shops, they had no idea, so found the Mall, Thrift store etc all by myself, and it is so good when Staff know what is around the Hotel and to be able to give guests information.

I ordered to receipt for payment 3 times and each time un friendly and didn't make it. I need to explain fo my privilege to receive it. I don't understand why they didn't issue it. I spend many time for it and they made me unhappy.

The shuttle was very easy to use and prompt. It was nice that it ran 24 hours a day. The rooms were clean. The only complaint was that the rooms smelled very musty and even with the window open the smell never went away. My clothes all smelled musty the next day, even the ones in my suitcase.

This was my second time at this hotel and probably my last. After checking in late following an international flight, we were awakened in the morning earlier than we planned to get up by non-stop barking dogs. When it was light, we looked out our first floor window to find a large commercial dog kennel with dozens of outside pens just 20 feet from our window. In addition to that, the water in the shower was only moderately warm. I think we'll skip this hotel the next time we're in Houston. If you stay here, request a room on the front side of the hotel sway from the kennel.

I’ve never been so disappointed in the service of a hotel before. They messed up our airport transportation, the manager took no responsibility, and simply shrugged when we told them we missed our flight due to their terrible communication and transport system. When we finally got into the transfer, the hotel NEVER told them to be there hence why he was late and showed proof. The rooms were not clean, they provided 2 pillows for a king sized bed and when we asked for 2 more, they acted like it was a huge deal. I hope future guests read this and NEVER BOOK this hotel.

Hard to honestly rate them because they had no electricity when we arrived. We arrived 4 days after the hurricane hit and they still had no electricity.
I am giving them a low rating because they were still taking customers and charging them full price when they had no food, water or electricity. If we knew, we would have canceled and stayed at the airport. So, they should have contacted us (they did have cell service) to let us know.

The room wasn't very clean. There was a spot on the floor that needed to be cleaned or replaced. Shower was slippery. Coffee pot wasn't clean. Bed was lumpy and needed a new mattress.

Our rooms instead were on each end of the 3rd floor which meant I had to take my 69 year old body up and down the hallway throughout the night to care for him. I will inform all the elderly population within my hearing that they should never book sleep inn at bush continental.
