Great hotel choice in El Gouna. Beach front rooms are nice, good facilities and reasonable prices. The beach is good and so are the pools. Service is very good, they are very attentive and have small gestures such as cleaning sunglasses and settings towels for you. The town is a short stroll away and offers a good choice of restaurants and bars.

We had a lovely stay at the Chedi el Gouna. We had previously stayed at the Chedi Andermatt, and were intriged by El Gouna. We were not disappointed. From A to Z our stay was exellent: location, hotel facilities, food, service, massage, amenities, activities and more! Thank you so much to the while Team, we will be back!

Our stay at The Chedi El Gouna was remarkable. So good, that we decided to extend our stay. The hotel grounds are impeccably maintained. Our room was a Beachfront room practically sitting on the beach sand. The entire staff has one priority: to please their guests! They are courteous, helpful and ready to go all out to satisfy their needs. The Chedi gets a 5 rating! We are recommending it to our friends and family! Paula and Albert Cohen

Our stay at The Chedi El Gouna was remarkable. So good, that we decided to extend our stay. The hotel grounds are impeccably maintained. They make each guest feel so special at this place. The attention you get is incredible. I can’t recall not one single mistake or imperfection. What's so special about, on top of cleanliness, is the staff’s performance and behaviour. Even though it was Ramadan and most of the staff were fasting, they were always super sweet, alert, dedicated and very hospitable. Fully functional and efficient despite the fast and the high temperature. Always smiling and offering you the best service. Super generous as well. They tend to pamper you with snacks every now and then unexpectedly (popcorn bucket, juices, fruits…). We didn’t have to complain once. Always smiling. Special thanks to ROMANI and Mahmoud at the reception, Mahmoud and Mostapha by the beach, Mohamad by the pool and beach house, and Amr for housekeeping, Kareem at the breakfast. I hope I did not forget anyone. Ask for the beach front room.

Beautiful location and property. A la carte dining is only available at Nihon. Otherwise a great place to unwind. Penthouse suites have incredible views.

Whilst the quality of the food is good there is very limited options. In the evening the only options are a buffet (average quality) or Japanese (which is very good). Staff on the front desk are average. On three occasions they didn’t know answers to our questions and promised to come back to us and then didn’t. Further, we wanted to book the Japanese restaurant one evening and reception informed us it was fully booked. A few minutes later we walked to be restaurant and was told there is availability. Just seems the reception staff can’t be bothered, some are also arrogant.

Staff at beach need some training (had to wait 2h for order a drink). Spa facility nice and staff friendly but overall it feels more like a good 4-star hotel. Compared to many other hotels in Egypt this is a good choice but compared to Chedi Muscat this is only a 4-star hotel.... One more thing: strange that the beachguard needs to supervise the guests as you enter the water....like a bodyguard. It felt quite annoying as a guest so my recommendation would be that the beachguard stays in his tower supervising guest from there. If you are looking for a nice hotel in Egypt (not all-inclusive) in a calm area this is a really good choice but dont expect a 5-star experience, then you will be dissapointed.

We stayed at this property less than one month after they opened and it was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The resort was gorgeous. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to relax on / near the beach.

The property has just opened so the staff need more training. The building is an existing one and it was renovated so I think it could've been better. The breakfast area staff was really good, however, the pool and beach staff need intense training. The hotel has very little food choices. I would not stay there again.
