Fabulous weekend away. Lovely room (with a garden shared with another room), food and location. Fantastic views in the village and over to Pendle Hill. We would love to return.

Had a great time here. Don’t know if we had been upgraded or not but the accommodation was great. The staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great too and large portions.

Lovely stay at the Assheton for 2 nights, room was lovely, really nice decor and furnishings.clean, great facilities, nice toiletries provided, amazing power shower, nice biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities, it seems this company has thought through everything. Had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had anywhere ..and there's been a lot 😊 The triple cooked chips were also fantastic as a snack with a cold beer A perfect stay in a beautiful location, highly recommend

Location was beautiful with views over Pendle Hill. Room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean with a beautiful bathroom. It was situated adjacent to the pub a 15 second walk away. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Would stay again when next in the area.

Restaurant had a great ambiance and the food was excellent! The staff were all friendly and helpful and helped make our stay really enjoyable. We would definitely return to stay here again!

All the staff know hospitality and the service was exceptional with everyone so friendly and happy to help. All this in the beautiful village of Downham, what’s not to love. We’ll be back!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location . Upgraded to large suite it was clean and huge !! 2 bedrooms and lounge with great views. Great food choice and tasty. Pub was warm and welcoming with outdoor seating and fantastic views of pendle. Highly recommend and will definitely return . Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just a lovely place with great staff who can't do enough. We had a superior room- lovely size and a beautiful roll top bath. A lovely night away to recharge.

Lovely pub in a beautiful village. We stayed in what used to be the post office next the pub. Comfortable room with a nice big bathroom. Food was good too!
