It was lovely and clean. I could do with somewhere to hang clothes and some to to put makeup and toiletries as you are trying to put makeup and do hair. Also lighting very poor but lovely clean accomodation

Ad misleading to pics, only half a toilet roll no spare toilet roll, only a thin blanket & sheet on bed not extra blanket. Outside table & chairs dirty.

Despite the error that I made in booking the accommodation, the staff kindly let us book in a day ahead. Very gratefully and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, there were mice/ rats scratching noisily, waking us in the early hours of the morning and continued till we left. Disappointing, as it was a lovely unit and welcome.

We went to the Imperial hotel for a bit to eat great service and great food. We will be staying in the Nosh and Nod again.

This was our second stay at Nosh & Nod and we must say we will consider it again. My mother and I were spending the night in York for an event the next day. Even though we arrived after 7pm access was easily prearranged by contacting the business. The rooms are tidy, cosy and spacious. The kitchen facilities were good and we had a very peaceful stay.

We stayed in one of four units. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only problem was a leak in the shower hose that squirted over the glass shower petition and onto all the toiletries.
Very casual and simple check in/out. The hotel was in a quiet location in York but in easy walking distance to cafes, hotels and shops.

Initially there was a mix up with the booking details and issues with sorting things out over the phone but everything was worked out in the end. When we met the owner in person we were treated wonderfully with apologies for the mix up, given a late checkout for the trouble, the owner definitely wanted to ensure we felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay, was really appreciated

Rapid self check in by phone after arrival. The rooms have a nice patio with chairs and small tables to sit in front of room. Our room had a nice large bathtub with whirlpool function. York is a lovely place for a family outing.
