The staff was absolutely nice and welcoming. Clean, large and silent room. Incredible service for the price. Right in the old part of the city. I would advice this hotel for sure.

This must have been a very elegant hotel back in the 1960s, but then the neighborhood changed...It's perfectly safe, but the upscale hotels are now in other parts of Ankara. I liked the beautiful staircase, the newly renovated, very clean bathroom and the helpful, very friendly staff. Very good bang for the buck! My window went to a rather quiet street. I'll be back.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful and also comfy. The whole crew was supporting. I asked to change the room and they actually changed it with a smile. The price was really good. The manager spoke english and that was a relief. The crew made me feel like I was with my family. The area was filled with public transportation like the metro and busses. If I came back to Ankara I would definitely come back to this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. I selected this specific hotel mainly because of its location and price. First of all I would like to talk about the hotel in general. It is located near Ulus Metro Station, which is kind of the cultural center of Ankara so finding it will not be hard.The hotel is really close to the Roman baths, TBMM, Anatolian Cultural museum and etc. Though I would not advise for females to stay in this part of the city as my friends sugested that this part of the city can get a bit dangerous for females. Secondly, the hotel itself is a solid 3 out of 5. The staff (people at the reception) are kind of friendly. Prior to my coming, I reserved a single person room with a view to the city. They gave me the room 502, which is a room for two, and it had okay view to the city. The room was not clean like it should have been. I was able to find hairs on the matress which made me uncomfortable to say the least. The room's bathroom was not clean too. There were stains of the water in shower cabin. Hot water and high pressure was present which is pleasant. The breakfast included was 3.5/5. There were sausages, tomatoes and cucumbers, (resembling of) orange and pomegranate juice. There is not any clerks so you will have to put the food on your plate yourself. Overall, I just selected this hotel for night staying so I did not have high expectations. If you will be staying in hotel, please consider everything I have said so far before you select this hotel.

After checking in, at 10:30pm while i was almost falling asleep, a reception man who spoke only Turkish in a rude way knocked my door and shouted that my card has a problem that i should pay again. He didn't even recognize i successfully booked and had a receipt and just kept insisting that made me pay again. The next day the same man knocked my door at 8 am making me woke up and finally recognized he was wrong and told me to cancel the last night payment. he took my card and tried to cancel the payment but couldn't even know how to cancel and again made another payment with my credit card. I paid 3 times.

Traditional centre city hotel, would be good in high season. Restaurant only open sometimes for breakfast, with very few guests and Covid nonsense as well. Plumbing was under repair, staff asked me to change rooms twice in one day ! But they were very pleasant and helpful. Lovely spiral staircase, with a coloured glass dome on top.

I had problem with payment - I paid by mobile app but hotel staff did not see my payment, so I had to contact Hotels.com and spend time solving it. Finally it was solved well and I hope my experience was rare. Also when I came at 3 PM there was only cold water in the shower. But at the evening there already was hot. Anyway personnel is kind, wi-fi works good and hotel is not expensive and for it it's worth it.
