Ive stayed at the Top Notch many times over the years. Always a great stay. Always clean, great showers (water pressure and hot water). Hot tub, pool, grills available to make baurgers, etc.

Very nice hotel We were booked in the separate accomodation for 10 people Nice house. Surrounding all good Only the train passes relatively close and makes a lot of noise in the night Passing train at 0100 and 0300 with lots of horn signaling

We stayed here before going up the Cog Railway to the top of Mt. Washington. It met all of our needs and was just what we wanted. Restaurants are walkable distances and the drive to the Cog Railway was relatively convenient.

Friendly service genuinely cares if you're happy. Tiffany was excellent. On my entry to the room and entry survey. The room had a wet dog oder. She saw the survey and contact me to come further clean the room. The carpets were just cleaned which was part of the problem. The smell was much improved later that day when we returned. I would stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast was poor and I have had much better breakfast options in franchise motels. They call it breakfast in their advertising but use the term breakfast snacks when you get there and it definitely was just snacks. The breakfast area was also too cramped so that could be why they can only offer ‘snacks’ in that little space. Sink in our bathroom had been cracked previously and someone had tried to repair it with brown grout which was a bit off putting. Our stay had started off so well as the Receptionist at check-in was awesome and even welcomed us with a glass of champagne but the rest of our experience was only average.

It is clear that the owner(s) of this property take great pride in cleanliness and customer service. The employees are courteous and attentive. The cost is very reasonable.

We just completed a 10 day road trip - different hotels each night. Top Notch was BY FAR the best place we stayed. Awesome updating / renovation of an older motel style facility. Great public space features. Clean rooms. Quiet. Friendly staff.
