Parking is a nightmare. Almost impossible. The location is great and convenient. The room is nice however the bathroom is extremely small and almost unusable. Very nosy all night with trash pickup.

I loved this place! It was the best location for dining, shopping, beaches, views and the staff is incredible! I booked the Honeymoon Suite just for the view and I was so happy I did, I had the BEST view. Lots to see and do, I will definitely be back and stay at the Casa Leone Hotel. I can’t say enough good things about the place, you’ll have to visit yourself to find out.

Thank you Nikolai (sp?) for being a great host. Perfect location, quiet- granted this is off season. Room (#2) and view were magnificent. Laundry service even tho really no staff on hand due to off season. My laptop fan went out and they tried to help me which was much appreciated. As solo traveler felt very safe and secure. Locked gate, locked hotel door and locked room. Balcony view of harbor freight as breathtaking. At night especially when it was all lit. Lighthouse is beautiful. Easy walking to shops and local market. Nikolai even walked me to restaurant around the corner where I ate great local home cooked more than once. Highly recommend and will stay again if I am ever back in Chania, which I hope to be as it is beautiful.

So wonderfully clean, authentic and romantic! We walked in and knew we had found the one; the perfect place to stay in Chania! So quaint and beautiful! Would love to give it even more stars!

OUTSTANDING!!! We just spent six nights at Casa Leone, and loved it. Olga and the staff were fantastic, and they took great care of us. Breakfast was outstanding, not to mention the location and view. It was extremely relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the scene around the little bay!

The view of the harbour is breathtaking from the property. Also the breakfast provided every morning was so delicious and filling. It’s a great place to stay and the staff were so accommodating with a late check in and check out for us.

We had a terrific time at Casa Leone. Olga was super helpful, booked incredible excursions for us and even prepared early breakfast before our departure. The complementary breakfast was delicious. Hotel is walking distance from many bars and restaurants, and we were mostly able to find public parking for our car rental. Thank you Olga!

Booked last minute and so happy we did.. Only stayed a night but location and the actual hotel were sensational. Only a boutique hotel with 5 rooms and we were treated like family from the moment we booked with emails, instructions etc etc. we were greeted by Yiota in the afternoon to check in and then met Olga in the morning for breakfast. Again we were treated like family and felt right at home. Next visit to Chania will definitely stay again. Although we originally intended on having a car, we did not bring one, probably just as well as I am pretty sure it would have been difficult to secure one close by. Just a word of caution, just in case.

But, you enjoy peace and quiet, an elegant breakfast, wonderful air conditioning for sleeping and the sense of being in a beautiful mansion on the sea. Having said all of this the most beautiful thing of all were the hotel ownership and staff who quickly after one conversation became friends. Before we could even ask for something, the staff immediately knew what we needed and had it in hand offering it to us. Hotel is in a prime location, just a few minutes walk from a free public car park. Lovely hosts and comfortable room, shower room is compact but adequate. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and is varied each day.

Olga was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Upon arrival she was exceptionally courteous and extremity professional throughout, even though it was only a 1 night stay. Built in the 1500’s, this beautiful Hotel has so so much Charm. A WINNER!
