Good location on less busy end of Esplanade. Front desk, wait staff and housekeeping staff all super-friendly, efficient and helpful. Great pools.
On the downside, the carpets in our room were badly stained. We were told they were going to be replaced. In the meantime they felt ikky and spoiled our room experience.

Very nice hotel close to Cairns cener and airport. Nice and clean rooms with view. Big pool but not enough sun beds. All of them were reserved with towels already by 8 am! No shower at the pool.

This was our second stay at Crystalbrook Riley and we had another 5 star experience. Rooms felt nice and clean and modern, wonderful pool and onsite facilities and restaurants. Walking distance from the Esplanade and everything we wanted to do in Cairns. Hoping to return sometime soon 😊

Had a really good 4 night stay at Riley. Everyone was very helpful and tried their best to accomodate my request. Our view was fantastic and to die for.
The robes could be better though. (Bit itchy to wear)

Pool was in a great spot for the sun. Calypso bar lovely place to spend an afternoon. Only negative thing was the rooms ac . Couldnt set the temp below 21 and when reported to reception they did something on the computer at reception so the ac only went on full fan and full cooling ,so it would stay down to 14 deg .The service guy never showed up after requesting 3 times .

The experience was good. Great staff, the service was good. Loved the breakfast buffet at the restaurant. Convenient, you can access the shops by walking. I would come back again next time!

The staff was helpful and friendly. It's location was perfect, the panoramic room was just stunning. It was quite, convenient and just beautiful. I would recommend it to family and friends

Great hotel with one huge, major drawback, they have opened bars at the front of the hotel and on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday various events meant mind numbing bass music volume rang through the room. We had a massive day so wanted a bit of a rest in the room wow, no way. The Saturday stopped at 9 and the other nights at 10:30 and that doesn’t sound too bad but when you’ve been out on the reef all day in 30 degree sun and a few lunchtime refreshments last thing you need is your brain fried by a dj. I should say we aren’t in our 20’s but there again not in a retirement village either. Great for tireless teens or twenty somethings.

After informing reception were told we could have a balcony room but had to wait until 2pm the next day which was the same time we were booked on a party bus for a 60th. We were then moved to a room with no wifi which we needed to stream a football final our son was about to play in. Took some time & couldn’t be fixed. It was impossible to relax, waiting, packing & unpacking until we were finally offered a nice room on our last night. Other than this staff were lovely & the resort is beautiful.

Unfortunately the lounge with the 360 degree view from the 12th floor was closed the nights we were there. VERY disappointing since it was one of the draws for us to stay at this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful! We didn’t realize you cannot swim in the ocean in Cairns…so we were really lucky to have such a beautiful pool at this hotel. The rooms were perfect (clean, modern and quiet). We had the buffet breakfast every morning (it has everything).
