Really nice hotel in an interesting, spacious, wide-open redeveloped urban area. Very walkable and close to transit. Feels very “old Calgary”, altho the area does house a few unsavoury characters. Take the 300 bus from airport, $3.70. Bell Music Museum 5 min walk.

Horrible hotel, couldn’t sleep due to loud trains going back and forth
It is right beside a homeless shelter so a lot of homeless people around the hotel super unsafe seen 3 fights just pulling in
Never in my life will I go back and if I could get a refund I would

The property was odd. 2 hotels in the same building. Breakfast buffet was decent but not worth $22 per person. The view from the room was entertaining. Could frequently watch street people using drugs out in the street. Did not feel safe walking around the outside of the property. Definitely will not be staying here again just based on the environment

Our bed was was unfortunately pretty uncomfortable and slightly sunken in the middle and the shampoo was empty in our room for our first shower.. Other than that, good experience!

This is a large modern hotel in downtown Calgary. The rooms are clean, beds large and comfortable, bathrooms well appointed. There is not a lot of wardrobe space and no drawers. For short stays they are fine. We ate in the restaurant last night. Food was well cooked and value for money. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
There are however a number of homeless frequenting the area around the hotel. This can make one feel unsafe leaving the hotel in the evenings.

It was very close to the hotel, just across the street, but I was unable to utilize the website for the parking lot to renew my fee daily so I had to go to the parking lot each evening to pay for the next day. I won't use a public unsecured wifi to pay with my credit card and the website wouldn't respond without having wifi turned on.

When I had trouble logging in with Wifi on my computer, the front desk gentleman went out of his way to solve the problem. I appreciated his kindness. I also got immediate help with the coffee maker with housekeeping staff.
