We first heard about the Hyatt hotel as my brother had held his wedding reception there, so when I saw that there was a Hyatt in Malta I thought it had to be good. It was as wonderful as I thought it would be. Service was impeccable in every aspect - from breakfast staff, to bar staff to check in. The people working at Malta's Hyatt really are an asset to the hotel and I hope they are commended by management as well as by guests.
I would rate the breakfast as superb. Amazing buffet breakfast. Something for everyone. Beds were so comfortable and a the rooms a nice size. Bathroom was also wonderful. Just an amazing place to stay if staying in Malta.

This is not a property that is on the water unless you are at the rooftop. Service and staff is excellent. We were given a room where ac did not work and had to change the next day. I heard another guest complaining for the same issue.
Breakfast is excellent and recommend. Easy access to mall across the property and other area in St Julian.

It was really super nice; the roof top pool and bar - the delicious breakfast; the stunning view from the terrace; the fine rooms - just a great place to be. However the gem of this place is the team; a welcoming reception team always helpful; the young lady from Nepal sorry don’t know her name helping to set up a dinner on the terrace and always with a smile at the breakfast buffet - Raja so hospital and kind always teaching us a bit about live in Malta so pleasant to have a chat with you and last but not least Gianni with the kitchen team always a pleasure to talk to you and get ideas what else to test … great team really a pleasure to be a guest with all of you at Hyatt Malta

There was quite a bit of noise in the evening but didn’t impact our sleep too much. The team were very friendly and accommodating.

Our room was at the back and would have been nice to let some air in but the windows were not openable.
Staff were exceptional, in particular Justin, Matthias and young Dutch lady at breakfast :-)

The staff are amazing. We were given a balcony room as a free upgrade. Live music infront of the hotel several times a week was an added bonus. I will stay again!

Hyatt and beds very comfortable with excellent AC. Be aware that there is currently a lot of building going on around the hotel so definitely less tranquil when you leave the hotel!

Some guests may not like the noisy club part of area but made no difference to us as we only walked through on way to somewhere else. It had no impact on our stay at Hyatt. Beautiful tranquil place.

The staff was amazing and eager to help. The hotel is new, modern, well-run and in an ideal location in St Julian’s. We especially appreciated the breakfast buffet and the rooftop pool.

We stayed at Hyatt for 5 days, very friendly staff plus the hotel is located near San Giljan bus station from were you can catch bus to anywhere.

Hyatt Regency has the potential of being a reasonable hotel, despite the location. Mistakes made at the checkin left us unaware of hotel policies, including billing process and credit amount block on credit card, unheard of and ever experienced in any other hotel we have stayed in. This led to an unreasonable and hash letters being posted under the room door, despite the card being registered at reception. Not an experience one would expect to deal with after spending a day trying to relax on holiday. Hotel claimed this was to make a hassle free stay but it was just for the hotel and not for us, making us feel untrustworthy. The issue was finally resolved by us settling the bill we have accrued with no intention of using the hotel facilities for the remaining four days of our stay. However, this happily gave us an opportunity to experience lovely restaurants in the area including the Le Bristo at Radisson Blu, lovely meal at the Marriott, Intercontinental restaurant at the beach side and a special treat at Phoenicia Valletta, with none of them questioned our credit rate.
I hope this is not a policy followed by all Hyatt Regency around the world.

This is simply the best hotel in this area. The staff(George, Ben, Yannis) just to name a few were all very helpful and kind.
We moved to this hotel last minute after a disappointing stay at an Airbnb and we felt we went from bad to the best. Thank you to all the staff at Hyatt.
