We booked through this site about 3 hrs before we would arrive. I had the confirmation number and made sure the dates were correct. Get to the hotel and it's locked. Sign said to call since no one was at the desk. Their own sign had their phone number wrong. They had an advertisement with the correct number. I called and was told we had no reservations and dates must be wrong because they are booked and no rooms. He told me several times that he can't not refund me. Even after I told him I already knew that. But he couldn't explain why they use a 3rd party to fill rooms if they have none or prefer not to do business. Place is a complete sham and waste. All I can figure is they want the tax break of owning a business without actually running one. Sad thing it looked nice from the photos too.

at checkin the motel was closed for the season even though they took the money and scheduled us. moved us to a different motel a couple miles away. not really the way to run a business\

Place is just dirty in room. Feet felt wet on dirty as 40 year old carpets. Furniture is ancient, spills on the chairs looks like someone pissed on them

We stayed here in June last minute for a funeral and I was extremely disappointed. We had our latest trip in August planned and I was regretting it and desperately looked for another hotel. None were available so we reluctantly stayed here again. I am very happy we did, this place definitely redeemed itself. While the first start was bad, the last one was outstanding. Very happy with the room, staff and breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. Everyone has a bad day once in awhile, I'm happy we have them a second chance.

we had two rooms and were satisfied, however we did experience a customer who was charged more than double what we paid and double what she had been quoted and they told her to bad, I would suggest checking your bill.

I liked the size of the room and the location of the hotel. It's just off the main drag so it only takes minutes to get there. The only drawback is that there is no view of the lake but the St. Ignace boardwalk is awesome and so that was a nice way to get a view of the lake. The breakfast offerings were a little sparse in terms of healthy alternatives but the staff was very nice and tried hard to please. It was clear there had been some updates to the bathroom since we had stayed there the previous year and the updates were a good improvement.

The carpet felt damp, even with the AC on full blast and without us using the pool. The only nice thing about this place was that the hot tub miraculously worked. We spent as little time in here as possible.

Great bed.
Needed updating and minor touchups. Toilet seat needed to be replaced. Rug interfered with the closing of the door. Shower bar is going to fall down soon - loose in the wall.
