This Holiday Inn is perfectly situated for the town centre of Barrow, and also numerous businesses nearby. It's clean, the staff are excellent and the addition of the Chromecast in every room is also a bonus when you have a long stay. My only criticism would be the coffee, and the lack of options such as a fried egg at breakfast - I appreciate the latter is because of the Express brand, but the coffee supplier should be changed.

Limited parking directly near hotel as its a busy spot. A short walk to overflow thats has a £2 charge. Expensive hotel for where it is feeding off off the BaE need for staff and accomodation; in par with most other places in surrounding area...i needed this as emergency due to sick parent rushed to hospital as couldnt stay at my parents house- too many people there...not a cost I wanted to incurr at this time but had no choice. Barrow is an expensive place to visit. Room clean, bed too soft for me but thats a personal choice. Staff were very friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast is nice, fresh and there is enough choice for most people. Overall a mass expense to visit in such difficult circimstances but had to be done. Place is central and staff are lovely.

We were there for Dave Day weekend. Hotels was a great location. Staff friendly.

It was a charity weekend called Dave day. The hotel were most welcoming and a lovely touch in each room was a wooden spoon with Dave’s face engraved and year he was born / died. Also a small booklet about him and a recipe.

Stayed here for three nights. Great hotel for a short stay, super friendly staff, food is good, modern, clean rooms. No complaints will stay again for future visits.

Good modern rooms with all the expected facilities - particularly liked the Chromecast in each room to give the option of watching what we like on the big screen. Only criticism is with the breakfast - sausages are overcooked, fried eggs or other options would be nice - and the coffee was not good at all. Just a jug of filter would be preferable to the machine being used.

Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍
