Property was nice but the hotel double billed us (one via hotels.com and the other when they checked us in). Three staff members confirmed that they double billed us (and another guest too). Amazingly they were completely unwilling to issue the credit. Hotels.com did issue the credit but this is an issue with the hotel and i would highly recommend to NOT go to this hotel if you dont want to be double billed. We will not be back. Amazing how completly uncaring they were ( four calls all together).

Go to check in. They tell me my reservation for 2 rooms for 2 nights was canceled. I never received anything telling me this. Card card was already charged. Now I have to fight to get my money back. Had to search for a new hotel. Manager wouldn’t come out to speak to us. ☹️🤬

We just needed a spot to stop overnight on a road trip. This hotel was great. Very clean. Large rooms. Breakfast was very good. Would stay here again.

The first room assigned smelled of smoke. The hotel only had one other option and that room smelled fine. However, the room did not seem “renovated” although we booked a renovated room. Overall, the price (more expensive than most downtown Grand Rapids hotels) did not feel worth what we paid for the room.

This was one of my favourite hotels that I've ever stayed in. Most importantly it was clean and quiet. However we also appreciated the extra details: it smelled new, the hallways were brightly lit, the grounds were beautiful. They also had fires outside in the courtyard - such a nice addition! Breakfast was typical for a complimentary breakfast, however they added topping stations for yogurt and eggs which was a nice touch. We didn't do much in the area, but we also didn't mind the 20 minute drive to better shopping/dining options. If we come back to the area, we will absolutely stay here again.

We have stayed at Staybridge properties in the past and always enjoyed our stay however, Grand Rapids could use a little work on cleanliness. Front desk was friendly. Our room had left over dishes in the dishwasher and a dirty scrubber left on the counter. The end tables had smudges, the stainless steal appliances were fingerprinted and dirty. Bathroom had dirt on the shower floor and something stuck on the wall. The tile flooring in the entry and elevator area were filthy. Hot tub jets didn't work and the pool was freezing. Overall it was a disappointing stay for the price we paid.

We got away for a couple days to the west side of Michigan. This place was relaxing, comfortable, convenient to many places, good breakfast and private. We had a wonderful time and a great place to stay!

The breakfast service was terrible! I went down for coffee at 8am and none ready, other than decaf. Then, I went again at 10am and once again no coffee was ready to go. That’s unacceptable and I won’t be back.
