We had such a lovely stay at The Edge. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central to lots of different activities, a great place to base yourself from in Tromsø. The breakfasts were amazing.

This hotel had the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had - the omelette station was to die for! But it was a huge spread and everything was fresh and delicious. The rooms were super comfy and had a fridge - no microwave or any way to heat up food, so only take back things to keep cold. There was a concert there one night we stayed and the place was packed with drunk folks, but they had security to keep everyone inline. We went to the bar on the 11th floor and it was nice, but nothing too crazy. The only negative was not only no free parking, but zero parking whatsoever. We had to park in a tunnel like a 10 minute walk away which was not ideal, but that's the only drawback.

We booked one of the corner rooms like pictured and it was pretty much as pictured with the exception of their are drapes that pull over the windows so not completely glass view all the way around. The room was good with a good view with a couple of little issues, one the AC didn't really work well enough, it was September and warmer than usual, and so we opened the windows but that caused a noisy wind tunnel and there was some street noise. As many others mentioned not much storage space but we typically do not unpack things from our suitcase except to hang jackets so unless you are staying a long time shouldn't be a problem. Also, the shower had a rainhead and a handheld, but the handheld didn't adjust up and down on a rod like many so when you tried to use it as attached to the rod it sprayed on the door and water got all over the floor. The shower was also not fully enclosed and small so any shower you ended up with water on the floor. Like many hotels the bathroom was too dim. The location was great and walkable to everything we wanted to do. The staff were nice and helpful. I would stay there again due to the location and view of the room. Amazing breakfast spread and good views if you book a deluxe room. Saw the northern lights right outside the hotel. Room was a little cold. Enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful, spacious room with stunning views. Comfortable beds and bedding. Wonderful breakfast buffet and dining area, with lots of options. Convenient hotel location to ferry terminal and shopping. Friendly, welcoming staff. Good value for price. Great customer experience.

We loved our room at the Clarion. Staff was friendly. The property is perfectly located.

WE love staying at the Edge. Perfect location with spectacular views from rooms. Was bummed the Sky Bar wasn't open while we we there, though.

Hotel was clean and very up to date. However, there were only a few towels and no wash cloths in the bathroom. No mat for the bathroom floor which got wet from the shower door that is only a partial door. No water bottles either which we expected after being on a cruise ship. Otherwise, the hotel was very comfortable.
