The Big Dill has almost everything you could want to enjoy a relaxing beach getaway. Here are just a few highlights this gorgeous new construction home (summer 2023) offers:

Located in a gated community, this 5,100 sq ft, 4 story home offers stunning views of the ocean and intracoastal waterway from its’ numerous balconies. You have private community beach access, enclosed garages and parking for 12. It will truly become a home away from home with 8 bedroom suites, all with ensuites bathrooms! There’s plenty of room for the whole family with 7 king beds and 2 twin over full pyramid bunks plus 2 queen sleeper sofas, 24 people can sleep comfortably.  

If you love to cook or even if you don’t, you will appreciate the beautiful gourmet kitchen. There’s a 10-foot island for food prep and space for 6 additional seats if needed. With a 48-inch gas stove, double ovens, microwave, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, ice maker, and even a pot filler; a chef will want to prepare all the meals here. 

 Additionally, there’s a wet bar and wine fridge for those fun cocktails at happy hour. Family dining is easy with 2 dining tables that can seat up to 24 plus an outdoor dining area just off the dining room for those who prefer al fresco dining.  

We haven’t even mentioned all the fun you can have both inside and out!  Aside from the beautiful beach and ocean, you never have to leave the house to enjoy a fun filled day.  There is a 40-foot by 25-foot private pool with a 10-foot tanning deck, a regulation sized Pickleball court, outdoor BBQ grill with prep area, covered outdoor living space with a TV and an outdoor shower. If you prefer to be inside, then you can enjoy the game lounge with an 85-inch smart TV, foosball table, coffee bar, beverage fridge and ice maker that are still steps from the pool. 
Other amenities include baby items such as pack N play, a high chair and booster chair along with 10 smart TVs throughout, 2 half baths, 2 laundry areas on separate floors and even ping pong in the garage.

If you feel the need to leave The Big Dill, you’ll only be 6 minutes from the closest grocery store and there are several shops and restaurants in the mainland town of Sneads Ferry and island town of Surf City.  If golf is your game, the North Shore Country Club and Golf Course is minutes away and if you bring your boat or jet ski, a boat launch is even closer.  Public access to kayaking and paddleboarding is a short drive away as well as playgrounds for the kids.

Beds will be made with professional linen service. Guest will need to put sheets on top bunk and sofa sleeper, if applicable. Linens will be laying on top of those items.

Rental Policies:
In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check Out is by 10 am. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
While this is not a pet friendly property, from time to time the owner of the property has a dog in the premises.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.
