I couldn’t imagine ever staying anywhere else in NOLA after staying here . It’s such a good deal , wonderful quiet , safe and charming neighborhood , friendly staff , gorgeous pool. We walked to and from the French quarter a few times which is a safe and lovely walk .

We received a gate/door code from an employee via text at 6:39pm. Arrived at the hotel at 11pm. When we checked in there was a suitcase left in our room. I pushed it next to the main door inside of our room and was going to give it to an employee in the morning. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We put our stuff in the room and then we took an Uber to Downtown New Orleans. At 12:53 we got a text that said The new code for that door is 117644# I accidentally changed the wrong guest room pin. Extremely weird and when I arrived back to the room at 3am the door was propped open. The suitcase that did not belong to us and my father in laws prescriptions were gone. Which made us all feel unsafe here. The next morning we spoke with Brittany at the front desk and she was wonderful. She listened to what happened and took a written statement/complaint of the events.

I was disappointed that the pool was closed. This was not noted on Expedia Orin the hotels website.

We needed an accomodation for our family of 4 which provides a washing machine and a pool. We received a text that the pool won’t be available during our stay on the same day we were checking in. The reception lady called her boss and we were told that all infos were available on the website, as well as shared to the booking platforms. Neither was true. We were offered to use another hotel‘s pool (for limited time and days), which is not located within a walking distance from Holy Angels. Since we didn’t have a car, this would be highly inconvenient. So we tried to cancel this hotel and looked for another. After being on the phone with Expedia‘s relocation service for an hour, we gave up. A few days later we saw other guests using the pool. We were wondering whether the pool was ready for use but we haven’t got the info. This happened a few days. During the day there were never anybody at the reception (we called a number stated there but couldn’t reach anybody). So not only that we weren’t allowed to use the pool but the kids were forced to see how the pool was used (probably illegaly) and nothing was done about it. There are two bedrooms in the unit so it accomodates four people but there were only sets of cutlery and plates for 3. The light in on of the bathrooms was out. In the middle of the night thick liquid dripped down from the ceiling where the light is. It was loud and pretty disgusting. We asked for maintenance, someone came but it was never repaired.

The linen, towels and dishes were dirty. There was nothing to wash dishes with and no silverware. There were no receptionist to help

I enjoyed my stay. Staff contacted me prior to my arrival, the room was spacious and clean, and the pool was very nice. There are a lot of cafes, bistros, and bars within walking distance along St. Claude Ave. I'd stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was half business and half family trip. The place was very safe gated quiet we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. It has such amazing history! We would definitely stay again!

On the plus side It was really nice having separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom! The space was well laid out and comfortable. It was nice having a kitchenette! On the minorly negative side, it was a little weird that we never interacted with humans at the front desk. It was all via telephone or text, which usually worked pretty well, but occasionally they were non-responsive (at first). There were some supplies missing and the fridge had a minor issue, both of which were addressed quickly.

We felt very safe here as it was gated all throughout, including the parking. It was very clean and the staff were friendly! Check in and check out was very easy. The room was well equipped.

This is our second time staying at Holy Angels. Loved it again! We'll be back.

This place was very nice, clean, and all around beautiful. The pictures does no justice. We even got on the bus that took us to the french quarter and bourbon street. Ms Diana and its another lady. (Dark skin) They were both so welcoming and attentive. Thank you guys for having us see you again so

Easy check-in, outside could be a little cleaner, staff was nice when they were present….overall, good stay!

Dont let the looks of the neighborhood fool you. This was an excellent facility with convenient access to the bus lines. The rooms were newly renovated, nice and clean, etc. Hot tub was great. Grounds/history is interesting. Will definitely return!
