The space was perfect for a group, the kitchen was well equipped, there is a loo on the first floor (open plan lounge, kitchen, dining) and two bathrooms downstairs (bedrooms). parking for 4 vehicles so excellent for a group.
All good, small problem with shower tray not running away very well…reported to facilities.

The location and space were great.
The property was described as luxury but it wasn’t! The furniture was tatty, our bed had obviously had broken legs so had just been put on the floor! There were maintenance issues which had not been dealt with. The shower room had a nasty smell.

Beautiful house with plenty of space for seven adults to relax. Open plan kitchen /diner/lounge area made it easier to spend most of the time together. Everything provided was enough for 7 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good location for shops and restaurants. Short walk to nearest ones.
Local information provided by the host was very useful.
We could have done with an extra bathroom downstairs but that is not a criticism as the house has been sympathetically converted.

Excellent Location
One king size bed is very low to the floor - you literally roll out onto the floor to get out- Sofas could do with replacing

Had a fantastic break and the accommodation was amazing. Would recommend and happily return. If pushed on any negatives, it might be that some of the furnishings like lampshades were in need of replacing, but that didn't affect our stay ....just an observation.

the location was perfect as we could walk to shops, restaurants, cafes, historical buildings & a park adjacent to the property.
The property has lots of space and character with a real wooden vaulted ceiling making it light and airy. The main living/lounge area is very large and easily seated an extra 9 local family members visiting one evening.
The rear door needs to have additional security, say with an internal bolt.
A mirror in every bedroom is a necessity.
At least 2 keys for main entrance door.

There was a 1 pint bottle of milk in the fridge. No breakfast.
We went out to the Tesco express 10-15 minutes walk away to get some after a long day preparing for our daughter's wedding.
Clean windows would have been lovely.
More cutlery. With only 8 knives and spoons they needed to be washed up after breakfast so there was enough for the next meal.
The dishwasher needs love.
Everything in the way of the kitchen: pedal bin without a pedal, scarred mats etc looks a little tired and detracts from the rest of the house.

Lots of space which is great with kids wanting to run around and bring with family, location was amazing, right next to the park that was lovely to wander around and very short walk to the town centre. Really enjoyed our stay the kids didn’t want to leave

Excellent location and great amount of space for a large group to stay. Building was unique, interesting and fun to stay in. Everything one could need was there.

amazing space really lends to a group travelling
could do with a mirror in each bedroom and lights in the kitchen area but these are not negatives just suggestions

Spacious, everything good quality and just a very charming, different kind of place
No shower gel or shampoo, the big curtain in one of the double rooms was not fully hooked on meaning it let a lot of light in. Also the doors to the overhang part if this room should have a lock for privacy.

Beautiful property in a beautiful place.
It was a bit dark... a few more lights would be great.

Lovely layout and spacious kitchen/living space upstairs. Bedrooms comfy. Location excellent, being next to Abbey Gardens and close to centre. Property is nicely converted, and has lots of character.
Only small things kike a chopping board. Perhaps a side gate so a dog could be left for a short while outside on the patio area.

Fantastic location, right next to Abbey Gardens, the cathedral and town centre - all walkable. Great space - big open plan living / dining / kitchen area on upper floor, with bonus utility area. Bedrooms all on ground floor - two ample-sized twins, two very spacious doubles (one en-suite with a lovely bath). Lots of storage space throughout.

Gorgeous house and lovely location
The shower. Don't like static head in the cubicle

We loved the beautiful building and home-from-home feel. The location next to park and walks, and very close to the shops and restaurants in the town centre was excellent. Main rooms including kitchen were well equipped and easy to live with.
Property would benefit from better lighting / mirrors in bedrooms. Also, it's a bit short of outside space to put dirty boots / hang damp items up - not a problem in June but would be in winter.

Period features, comfy beds, cosy and warm even when -1 degrees outside! Very well equipped kitchen. Close to town centre and you can walk through the Abbey Gardens. Great places to eat close by.

The property was spacious and "quirky" and the location was very good and easily walkable into Bury St Edmunds, either through the park or direct.
The Property states Dog Friendly, this in reality is the front hall as once you arrive there are details saying that dogs cant go anywhere else. Not really Dog Friendly
