The hotel needs immediate updates. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, bad air conditioner. None of the restaurants were open, and the buffet was disappointing. On the bright side, the massage at the spa was excellent, shout out to the amazing ladies who provided such great service!

This hotel only has one pool. The jacuzzi isn’t even accessible. There was only one option for dinner which is buffet style same menu every day. The breakfast was better because the chef made the eggs to order. There is NO entertainment. They do have a small band singing until 10pm. However there is nothing to do on the property. It is a quiet resort for older couples. The pool bartenders are not friendly and the alcohol is limited. The resort has no champagne for mimosas. The taxi drivers affiliated with the resort are reliable and safe. There was no a la carte restaurant available. The ONLY plus about this resort is the fact that it is close to Cayo levantado which was one of the highlights of my trip. The hotel has a private beach but no beach chairs. Just for views.

The hotel is very well kept with lavish rooms and amazing view!!! However, there are no activities, no night life and no entertainment whatsoever for an all adult hotel. The variety of food offered is very limited and is not good.

This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the pool or the beautiful beach. I personally enjoy the beach where I stayed the most. The staff is amazing, welcoming, and prompt to make you feel at home. I definitely recommend this resort to anyone who wants to enjoy D.R. in style. Great hotel and beautiful location. Has very easy access to awesome beach. The pool is really great. Only complaint, the loud music around the pool. Last time we were here, the music was soft and not loud. This time it was very loud. We asked it to be lowered but were told people wanted it that way. Hope they will go back to normal.

We had the best time in Bahia Principe Grand Samana! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Service was wonderful, we got everything we needed and much more. The place wasn't too busy so it was ideal and not crowded in any of the facilities.

The property is not what it used to be 5 years ago! It’s no longer my favorite destination because they have a new weird system of Not All Inclusive anymore unless you pay Extra!! No more Shows at night either… will Not be returning ever!!!
