Good location to visit Cinque Terre as near the train station and motorways. Lovely Staff. Nice Room but they should improve the cleanliness and some features of the bathroom. Lack of light near the access and car parking the last night.

We thought the hotel was actually in Sestri Levante but unfortunately it is a short train ride away in Riva Trigoso, which caused us some confusion and delay trying to find it. The trains only run once an hour into Sestri but do continue until late. It is up some steep steps from the station but only takes about ten minutes. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We were in the top room which suited us as it was very spacious. Breakfast was ok if uninspiring and the evening meal we ate there was good. It is quite a walk into the local town for other restaurants and the beach. Well placed for trains to the Cinque Terre. No bar as such but you can get a pre-dinner drink.

If you want somewhere clean and comfortable while you explore the Italian Riveria this place is perfect. Myself and my partner stayed here while we attended a wedding in the area and explore the famous coastline. The hosts (Marcello) are very helpful on arrival and can help with any questions (places to visit/ train times). The room was comfortable and included nice extras like sky tv, fridge and a safe and the high ceilings are great. Breakfast is what you expect for a continental- nice fresh coffee and crossiants with fruit, cereal, yogurts and more. We didnt spend alot of time in the accomodation ( as we were travelling alot). Riva T train station is a 5-10 minute walk, but be weary to check train times before you travel as trains aren't always frequent. A few times in the evening we ended up in Sestri Levante and then just got a taxi from there which was between 7-10 euros. But- if you do keep a check on the train times and can run to the schedule you will have no problems and can easily get to wherever you like ( Cinque Terre, Portofino, Genoa Airport etc). I recommend going for dinner in Sestri Levante on Fri/Sat/Sun- more lively and lots going on! My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and we were very happy! The owner immediately upon our arrival was very accommodating, informative, and helpful! He seemed to express a genuine interest in helping us get the most out of the town and surrounding cities including hiking trails, restaurants, shops, and other entertainment. The building was tall, up-kept, and complete with amazing views! It is only a 5 minute walk from the Riva Trigoso Train Station but far away enough so the sounds of the trains do not bother you at night. Our hotel room was very sweet, comfortable, and spacious! The shower however is VERY small and challenging to maneuver in. There were MANY wonderful things about this hotel however one of it's best amenities is the restaurant's service, presentation, and quality of food. It is OUTSTANDING. My husband and I frequently chose to dine their opposed to exploring other restaurants. Perfect for any guest and for long stays. We would gladly stay here again!

Room clean, good breakfast included, convient to train station to Cinque Terre, staff spoke english and were very helpful with directions, train schedules. Shower is very small-not unusual for Italy but room large and had a terrace...not many restaurants close by...about 30-45 minute walk to stores and restaurants.
