These are typical French apartments, not particularly spacious, but nice and generally functional. It is a fair walk into town - a good 10 - 15 mins. Our apartment was next to the road which although not busy could mean that there was quite a lot of noise at certain times of the day. However the countryside around is fantastic, loads of amazing walks and a great range of activities to keep families occupied, although they are not cheap. If you are expecting luxury you will be disappointed but as a base to explore the surrounding mountains the apartments fulfil their role well, providing good basic accommodation

For the price you are better in a hotel. Far from the slopes, difficult to go to ski with children. Hotel is spacious, but you need to clean before you go, and was not completely clean at arrival. You need to make your beds too on arrival.
