Lack of attention, dirty. No cleaner showed up for our two night stay. So we were left with nappies and dirty toilets, towels for the three days. It needs management attention but l do not think they care or the income from here make no difference. There are worst reviews online but nothing has changed so don’t expect a change this time. No staff. Receptionist does everything, security guy left post to attend to guests needs in the kitchen. The admin may have too much in her plate but attitude needs to change

The place was cosy and close to the station which make it easy for me to travel to work

What a fantastic location! Couldn’t have been better. The view from our balcony was amazing.

Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the plugs were rusty and left out of the sinkhole

Absolute scam of a listing. It was advertised as Rooms in Windsor when I booked a deluxe room but be warned, they’ve now changed their listing on here to Harte and Garter but I have a feeling they are still peddling the same snake oil. Advertised with 24 hour reception, booked a room with landmark views and shows as being opposite the castle. It’s not at all. I was sent checking in details via WhatsApp so no reception, the actual location is 1.5 miles away from the advertised location and the room I ended up staying in had no windows and funnily enough m, zero landmark views. I was at reading that day with limited signal so couldn’t check final details that were sent on the day until I got to Windsor and got dropped off by the taxi. It’s was 10pm so had little choice but to stay in the shambles of this accommodation. I was told by a local resident in the apartment complex that they do this very often and it’s a scam. They make up some excuse that they can’t offer what was advertised and you’re left with no choice but to accept this accommodation. Booking.com have taken zero accountability or responsibility for the false advertising of this listing and failed to secure any sort of refund or even an apology. They’re happy to pass on my contact details, take payment directly but not treat me as their customer but continue to let this scum advertise their scam on their site. Photos show what should have been provided, a pic of the room, distance between location advertised and where it actually was and the “facilities” provided. Awful customer service from this site and false listing by scam providers. DO NOT BOOK HERE

The location. The bed was comfortable. The room I eventually stayed in would of been amazing if it was clean, had a view and was not noisy

The noise. How run down it was. The cleanliness. Not getting the room that I had clearly booked. The view I was given You could not get the channels on the TV. The room had not been cleaned properly, used toiletries on the shower floor and the toilet was really dirty.
