The hotel was in need of modernising and the decor and furnishings were extremely dated. Staff failry friendly and location was ok. Room was small and hot although room fan helped despite being noisy. Overall did the job with location and avialablilty but expensive for what is offered.

This hotel was the most disgusting place I have ever seen. This stay was for my daughter's 18th Birthday present. She sent me photos of the room, including stains everywhere, chewing gum on radiator, wholes in wall & broken electrical socket. She complained & was moved to another room, but still very dirty. This was not a cheap night's stay, but I would recommend not going near this place.

Hotel is attached to a bar which plays loud music until 2am every night. Rundown building no fridge in rooms as stated online. Bathroom floor looked dirty, bed was hard, towels were scratchy.

The room was clean with a modern bathroom and a clean bed......nothing else!!! No chair, chest of drawers or wardrobe!! Tv was ok with satellite channels. Never saw the same person on reception and most of them didn't even speak!! Very rude. Apart from that it suited my needs .

We knew we were getting cheap and cheerful (a bed and a bog) and wanted something close to the rail network-which was exactly what we got. The hotel wasn’t the cleanest and is in need of some serious TLC, but the bed was spotless, bathroom clean enough-albeit the monsoon part of the shower spurred over the top and straight into the loo! No wardrobe/hanging space which was a bit awkward. Breakfast area was quirky.... outside under a veranda with a patio heater, but food was adequate and staff were helpful. But would we stay again? Probably..... it did what it needed.

As a frequent guest at budget hotels, my expectations are low, but even these were not met. My room did not have a closet, or anywhere to place my items besides a small desk and chair. Hence almost the entirety of my luggage had to be dumped on the fairly limited floor space. The windows did little to mute the noise from outside, which is significant because the hotel overlooks a fairly busy street corner, with vehicles driving past semi-frequently into the late hours. On the plus side, the room had an en suite and good WiFi signal with one router per floor for maximum coverage. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They do go above and beyond to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible.

Easy to find and close to train station breakfast was nice but limited as what they had no sausage bacon or orange juice, friendly staff but there English wasn’t great noisy as the walls are rather thin some good places to eat a short walk away

Room was ok, but the radiator was on all night far too hot and unable to turn it down. No mat for the bathroom floor and 1 coat hanger between 2 of us!

Just for a night - too short visit to leave a proper review. Nice staff and a comfortable bed. Very near trains to Alexandra Palace.

Last minute booking due to having to stay overnight at the last minute. Near a train station which was great. Room was ok. Well kept and laid out. There were no towels in the room which i didn't realise until after i'd had a shower but other than that, it did the job and i'd stay there again. I couldn't access the wifi on the 1st floor which was a bit of a pain.

Easy check in and nice staff, but the single room I had was terrible, it was a side door to the road, that was noisy outside on the main road all night, it was dirty and mouldy, missing electrical sockets and exposed wires, really bad ant infestation! The mattress was so old all the springs had gone, very uncomfortable. No remote for the tv and it’s quite high up, so fiddly to use. There was a kettle but no plug socket for it, so if you want coffee you have to plug it in behind the bed!!! The shower was mouldy and the tap sticks out so you keep knocking it whilst having a shower and turning it into blistering hot water! Burnt myself a few times!!! Defo not a place I will return
