PINE MOUNTAIN LODGE is your home base to spectacular Yellowstone adventures!
This quintessential cabin is just 8 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance to the park. It is perfect for groups seeking peaceful rest and relaxation.
In the summer, indulge in hiking, off-road adventures, shopping, and attractions like the Grizzly Discovery Center and Imax Theatre. Yellowstone National Park beckons with fishing, birdwatching, wildlife encounters, and wonders such as Grand Prismatic and Old Faithful. With the nearby boat launches, you can bask in the grandeur of Hebgen Lake to get out for lake fishing, tubing, jet skiing, or just chilling out on a beach or on your boat. Summertime also includes many West Yellowstone events such as the National Park marathon and half-marathon runs through picturesque trails.
As winter blankets the region, embrace the wonder of West Yellowstone's winter activities. Big Sky Ski Resort awaits less than an hour away for world-class skiing. Within Yellowstone, delight in snowcoach tours, guided snowmobile trips, cross-country ski trails, and snowshoeing. Outside the park, explore over 35 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and 400 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the Gallatin National Forest. Conveniently, trail access is right outside our door, eliminating the need to trailer your sleds. Snowmobile rentals in West Yellowstone offer seamless exploration, allowing you to ride the trails back to Pine Mountain Lodge.

Guest Access:
Guests are provided with a personalized door lock access code.
The Neighborhood:
Lazy Acres is a quiet neighborhood comprised of short term rentals and year-round residents. The posted speed limit is 15 mph and the noise ordinance is in effect after 10 PM.
Getting Around:
A car is required in order to get around West Yellowstone and surrounding areas. In the winter, a vehicle with AWD is HIGHLY recommended!
Other Things to Note:
In the winter, access to snowmobile trails is accessible at the end of the road via a trailhead. It is critical that all motorized vehicles remain on driveways or roads as the entire neighborhood runs on septic systems that are in the "yards" of the cabins.
In the summer, this is a horseback riding trail. ATV trails can be accessed via a trailhead off the main highway.

We stayed here with our family. There was 10 of us including 3 kids. There was plenty of room for us to have seperate spaces when needed. The location was great. Just outside of town, so that it was quiet, but not far enough to keep you from wanting to run into town for dinner. The kitchen has just about everything you would need, so we actually went to the store and ate at the house every night.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Close to yellowstone and a lovely wilderness area. We stayed with our kids and grandkids and we had enough room for everyone. The owners thought of all our needs and included a fully stocked kitchen, towels for the hot tub, and even a pack and play/high chair for the baby. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We comfortably had 6 adults and 1 toddler. Neighboring properties are very close, which surprised us a little. Everything inside was well-stocked and well-labeled. Property has A/C but it really only cools the downstairs.

Our family of 9 stayed in this property. We were a short and convenient drive to both the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the town of West Yellowstone. The check in process was smooth and easy. The house was immaculately maintained and clean. In addition, the property owners were great to deal with. If you are looking for a basecamp for your Yellowstone vacation, this is the place to stay!!

This cabin had everything needed and more! We had two families stay and fit everyone very comfortably. Very close to Yellowstone West Entrance for easy access to the park and the hot tub was fabulous after long days exploring! Owners were very responsive to all questions. Would 110% recommend this property for your next vacation !

The owners thought of everything we would need. We came here to enjoy a family vacation that included my mother in law and two adult children. This was perfect for everyone to spread out. The house was close to downtown and the entrance to Yellowstone! The view of the mountains from the cabin was a bonus along with having a hot tub. It was nice to have our own bathroom too.

Eight of us stayed for 6 nights. We had a great time. The place was well equipped with everything we needed and labeled! Julie was fantastic and very informative! The place is super close to Yellowstone, trails and horseback riding.

This property made our family vacation the perfect place for us to gather and enjoy our time together in Yellowstone! There were 9 of us who slept comfortably each night, and we had everything we needed. Everything was wonderfully labeled and explained, making it easy for my elderly parents and our teenage son to find their way around the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the view was beautiful and everything was clean and fully stocked! We would definitely go back and recommend Lazy Acres!

House was perfect for three generation family including small children for a week visiting Yellowstone.

Loved this place. Large kitchen so we could have 4 people doing meal prep without bumping into each other. Loved the downstairs fireplace. Be sure to bring your own Kleenex. There are none and we had to go buy some. But that only a slight inconvenience. It will not impact our returning.

Great location for us. Very well stocked with supplies. It was nice to have plenty of plates and silverware for meals.

Good house overall, all but one bathroom had small showers and tight space around toilets.
Nice location and beautiful view.

This property is ideally located near the West Yellowstone Entrance, about 8 miles. A primary reason we selected this property was that it had 5 bathrooms available and 5 bedrooms, so everyone had their own bathroom. The property comfortably suited 9 adults and one 6 month old. They even had a Pack & Play available for the baby. The property owners were very responsive every time we reached out with questions. Would certainly consider this property again.

Excellent property! Very spacious for large family. Less than 15 minutes to downtown West Yellowstone and west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Would highly recommend!

Our family of 5 adults and 5 children truly enjoyed this property. It was fully stocked with everything and more. Each bathroom had full sized shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The kitchen had anything you could possibly want as well. There are plenty of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. There are chairs all over the deck, bag chairs for the drive-way and a fire pit stored in the garage. We had to contact the property owner a couple times and she was extremely responsive. The location was great for just being in the mountains but also made the national park easily accessible. 10 out of 10 would recommend this property!

We had a wonderful retreat with my adult children and grandchildren! The house was well stocked, insulated where we hardly heard upstair noise or toilet flushing, and very conveniently close to the town of West Yellowstone and the National Park.

The cabin served as our base for visiting Yellowstone NP. We loved the convenient location and beautiful setting. The cabin was perfect especially that each bedroom has private baths.

This was everything we could have wanted for our Yellowstone stay. Quick drive to the West Yellowstone gate. The lodge had everything already there to make our stay easy, enjoyable, and worry free! Absolutely planning to stay here again for our next visit. Great communication from the owners. Great space for a large family!

Every fall I get all of my grandkids together "the Cousins" and take them to Yellowstone for the week. The kids enjoy the time together and this cabin was great! The adults had their own space and the kids had theirs. Loved that each room had its own bathroom, made it so much easier!

The home is conveniently located to the West entrance of Yellowstone. All of the king sized beds were comfortable. Wish the showers were a little larger.

This is a beautiful location very close to YNP. The views out the front of the house are gorgeous, and the trees in the back are beautiful. Very serene setting. The neighbors in the back are very close but not an issue. The bedrooms and bathrooms are great, with high quality linens. The kitchen is very well supplied. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day in the park. Julie was great and went the extra mile in accomodating our needs. Sitting on the front porch swing with a cup of coffee was a little slice of heaven!

The 4 -car garage was a bonus. The only downside was the really small shower inserts in some of the bathrooms.

This cabin was amazing! Ben and Julie thought of everything to create a great vacation experience. The place was roomy, well-equipped, beautifully decorated and perfectly themed. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

This was a great place, but a little hard to find when we arrived after dark as there was no visible house number. The house lived up to the description we rented from and we enjoyed our stay.
4.0
Great getaway for our family the cabin was awesome. It has a number of good sized bedrooms with bathrooms for each of them which is a great benefit when traveling with your children and grandchildren. The hot tub was a great hit and was utilized at the end of each activity filled day. The close proximity to West Yellowstone (about 8 miles) provided access to everything there and a convenient access to the park.
I would have given the location five stars except for some issues we had with the television and a septic smell in the bathroom off of the main level. The DirectTV wasn't working on the main floor by the owner made us aware of the issue but it really wasn't a big issue as we didn't go there to watch television! There is also an awesome big screen TV on the upper floor that kids utilized and enjoyed. The internet was also a bit spotty but the owner gave us access to the router to see if we could reset it.
The owners reached out via email several times during our stay to make certain everything was working okay. The views from the cabin are great and we spent many evenings sitting on the porch reading and watching the sun set behind the mountains.
It was a great week and amazing temperatures and simply beautiful surroundings.

Wonderful house with plenty of room for our large group of 12 family members. Well equipped kitchen, large washer/dryer, grill, hot tub. About a 10 minute drive to West Yellowstone and the park entrance. Would return and recommend! Thanks! Ed

This was one of the cleanest and loveliest places we have ever stayed in. The locations to Yellowstone was perfect. It was well furnished and stocked with all the amenities. The kitchen was exceptional.

This is a great place to stay. We have gone a lot of places through VRBO and this place is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. The downstairs has brand new flooring and the kitchen is newly remodeled. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever return to the Yellowstone area.
4.0
The cabin was amazing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was there were some things that were broken like the fireplace downstairs and a heater in one of the rooms but since they are finishing remodeling it in a month I believe they will fix all of those issues. The hot tub was great but it felt more like it could fit 4 people comfortably than 7 or 8 and it didn't get as warm as we'd have liked it, but when we had less people in there it was better. Having private bathrooms for all the bedrooms was amazing. All the rooms were pretty cozy. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The place was clean. A couple members of our group didn't like that we were supposed to start a load of laundry and bring all the towels to the laundry room so I'm not sure if that's standard but it wasn't a big deal to me. I hope they get a new fireplace downstairs and don't just take it out, it's a great addition. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of working room. There were lots of places to crash and get comfy and relax. It was super close to the park entrance and snowmobile trails. A great location. If we end up going to west Yellowstone again, we'd definitely book here and I think any of the tiny issues with the house will have been fixed by then. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
