In July our family of six had the opportunity to vacation in the Crows Nest Villa at Peter Island. The Hospitality and kindness we received was truly World Class. The breathtaking views from each room of our home seemed to be out of a movie.
Special high marks to Aaron our Villa Manager who made sure everything was perfect and also to Sampson our Butler who never stopped smiling and Katie our personal Chef. None of us had experienced anything like this before, every meal was a highlight.
If you are looking to celebrate a special family event, in a world class setting I cannot imagine topping what our family experienced in the British Virgin Islands at Peter Island for one very special week. It was well worth the expense.

Extremely overpriced. Food very disappointing and very expensive.
6.0
Ridiculously over priced, and especially the food which was very average.

The gym is very outadated, there was not enough food choices, everything is shut down by 10:30pm, and not enough activities. Beautiful place, a little expensive for what you get.

You get the perfect vacation experience as soon as your feet hit the ferry that takes you to the island. Mate Bertie was very pleasant and helpful when getting your bearings around the BVI. When we arrived, Collin was most welcoming and was excellent at making you feel like you're on vacation. Throughout our stay, Julisa was on top of her game, naturally friendly and hospitable. Bertie, Collin, and Julisa are the 3 pillars of that place. The bartenders are cool too!!

VIP customer service throughout our stay. Beautifully landscaped grounds and beaches. Lots to do on the island. Staff is friendly and ready to take care of every need. Excursions were pricey, we found cheaper through ferry services of other islands.

Beautiful place, great for relaxing . The hotel staff ( bars, restaurant and shuttle drivers) needs to be more nice and customer oriented. Check-in personal were great.

Really a nice hotel with great views and one of the best beaches I have personally stayed by. Everything was clean and the rooms were nice. There is only one restaurant open at a time and breakfast closes at 10:30 and the lunch place is open at 12:30 so you need to do some planning. Food was really good though. I would come back at some point.

Peter Island is a gem and a great place to recharge batteries. For those in need of retail therapy, Tortola is a short boat ride away. One gets gourmet dining as well. We had Thanksgiving dinner, which was a delicious buffet. Breakfast is a "cannot miss". Service with a smile is provided at the resort.

The hotel representative who greeted us was kind and helpful. We had a rocky ride over and they had drinks with ginger in it to help with nausea which I appreciated. The room was very spacious. All of the staff was very friendly. I didn't realize you needed a reservation for the honeymoon beach and white bay beaches and when I called they were "booked" but after talking with the manager, they let us go from 10-12:15 until the next reservation, so book your hut early. There are only 6 huts on white bay and 1 on honeymoon. Deadmans beach is first come, first serve and just as beautiful.. The other two are more secluded and a nice experience. Definitely do the sunset loop and have champaigne or wine and watch the sunset. There are drivers that take you everywhere. The spa was lovely and the pool and view from the spa is fabulous! Overall, very pleased!

Two restaurants but only one available most of the week (two days they have a buffet type in grill type setting near the beach). Too expensive for what is available and the overall infrastructure require an update. The facilities and service was OK but not for a 4 or 5 star hotel. Meal just good. Small pool. No TV in room which wouldn't be so bad if there was other options (other to take a walk along the beach). In total I would say that is a 4 star hotel but for the price I even degrade to a 3 star. I don't recommend it.

Gorgeous beaches, comfortable spaces, first-class service, gourmet meals-- a 4-star experience, at a 4-star price!

This was our first time staying on Peter Island and thought it was extremely beautiful. The main beach takes on alot of wind daily so the water is never really that calm so we were a bit discouraged about that. The spa is phenomenal. Each night there is only one dining option and the times are very limited so keep that in mind because if your hungry when they're not serving there is no place to grab a snack. We were glad we only stayed three nights as we found ourselves a little bored. Service was incredible which is not usually found in the Virgin Islands. Overall a very nice spot to relax!

I'm not even going to go there with this place. Its not even worthy of a review. Do yourself a favor & stay at the Frenchman Cove in St. Thomas.

Excellent location, private beaches, delicious food, fantastic hotel staff. If you are looking for a getaway then this place is perfect. Not
Ideal if you are looking to party, and nightlife etc. no shopping unless u leave the island.

One of the best places for a vacation we have been to. We enjoyed the beauty of Peter Island, perfect beaches, excellent food and very nice staff. We were impressed how well the island is maintained. There are wind turbines, rain water irrigation systems and a desalination station for excellent drinking water. The ocean front rooms are ok but a little outdated. We actually preferred the ocean front room location at the harbor close to the bar and Tradewinds restaurant. Upper floors have the better views. Beach front junior suites are in better shape and offer more space we were told. They are closer to the beach restaurant and only a short walk to main resort. Of course you can always ask for a shuttle. They have several golf cart type shuttles and mini buses. The villas are very nice. We would consider to stay in one of the three villas if we were going with 3 or more couples and kids. Overall we liked the secluded feeling of the island with only a few rooms (32 ocean front rooms, a few beach front suites, plus three villas which seem to be rarely occupied). We were not sure about the extra cost for food and drinks at the time of booking. It is easy to spend $500 per day (for two) at the restaurants and bars - although we have to admit that the food was mostly excellent. Check out the 'all inclusive' offers which we unfortunately did not find on hotels.com.

The island itself is wonderful. It's in a beautiful setting and there are a number of areas on the island to explore. That said, the facilities were very dated. The shower in our room was old and cracked and did not feel very clean. The doors to the patio were dark wood with small windows, and did not stay open. It was impossible to just enjoy the fresh air and view while you were inside. Only one restaurant is open each evening which gets pretty old if you were staying multiple nights. The beach restaurant had harsh lighting in the evening which took away from the romantic nature of the setting. I give the hotel high scores for Deadman's Beach but otherwise it just wasn't the luxury hotel that it bills itself as.
