The staff was great and they made sure my liquor didn’t go dry. But the vodka sucks and the food was horrific. However I’d absolutely still recommend this joy.

Excellent Staff & Hotel very friendly will do anything for you. Cleaners are constantly cleaning and Hotel is spotless. Food was Excellent lots of choices and Chefs will go out of there way to make you anything. Only fault Local Spirits could be better.

Very nice hotel, close to the beach :) Quiet and nice view from our balcony.

Set in a perfect location, there is no need to go anywhere else if all you want is to sunbathe and swim. Perfect for families or couples of all ages. As a single older woman I cannot speak too highly of the staff for their care and consideration. Still somewhat under construction, but beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. If you want to explore further there is a wealth of opportunities. A highlight for me was a trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings et al. Spectacular. Beware of Egyptian tummy, and don’t drink the ice. Plenty of bottled water provided freely. Definitely going to return.

The hotel is still under construction, the beach is under construction also, tracks working directly on the beach. No place to stay on the beach. The same situation with pool, overcrowded because of works on the beach. The beach itself is very small and so far from the sea, you cannot even see the shoreline. You can swim only in some small “lake” with sea water, looks like soup from people and salty water, quite disgusting feeling. So, you can forget about swimming in the sea with clear water, no snorkeling of course, no beach. The phone in the room is not working in whole hotel. Hot water is not working also (!) we took hot shower just two days during all the week. The sheets was not changed also during all week. They are changing beach towels every day, BUT looks like they are not washing them even, just drying under the sun (!) , the smell and marks on towels. So, i saw many guests who was buying new beach towels for them self (me as well) from the shops nearby. Check in: when we made booking, we wrote, that we will need transfer from airport and early check in( 6 am). 3 month before trip. There was no answer. We tried to contact hotel to confirm our booking, no answer. Until we reached head office in Cairo. Only them confirmed our request. But when we reached hotel, they said that early check in cost 50$ and there is no free rooms now, only suites. And we need to pay more for it also!!!! So we paid for one more night, just to be able to sleep after 20 hours flight !!!

considering the national stadard this's a resonably good deal as long as you spend much of the time outside on a boat -kind personell -healthy food even if tasteless and repetitive -clean and wide room FORGET ABOUT THE WI-FI it does not work

Great hotel but some points are not good enough. The wifi at the lobby annoyed me, don’t know what reason the wifi password is gone every day or every two days. They don’t give me the password, instead I have to give them my cellphone, they inserted every time! Sun towels which is nice every room has two huge towels with a fancy bag, in the information letter mentioned sun towels will be changed daily from 18 - 20 o’clock if we leave the sun towels on the floor, two days out of 11 days so far, which was actually ok but i have to call every time and it takes ages sometimes to get changed. One free A la carte at their Italian restaurant and oriental per visit, information letter mentioned Saturday, Monday and Wednesday but when we booked, they said Italian only Saturday and oriental only Monday (what a pity missed the chance). We tried the so called Italian restaurant but for me not. The foods aren’t Italian at all, which is as same as from view main restaurant. The foods at main are delicious especially the desserts but ice cream is missing in my opinion. If they can change the foods every two weeks is better, we stay 11 nights but had it repeated one week later which is a bit boring. Entertainment at night are not really interesting, so we went just few times and that’s all. The location is good, not far away from the airport (we paid two euro for taxi to the hotel), shops (souvenir shops, travel agencies for excursions, pharmacies, restaurants) are 500m away from the hotel.

Samra Bay was an amazing experience all around. The staff was superfriendly and welcoming. Food was way above average for an all inclusive. We received a free room upgrade which was a nice bonus. The beach was quite and perfect for relaxing. I didn’t think that swimming would be possible in January, but we managed to spent at least an hour every day inside the water, best time was from noon to 2pm. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to escape the cold Canadian winters like myself. Special shoutout to Ahmed in the stylish lounge whose fun attitude was really the cherry on top.

At all was good even with a small problem i faced with checkout But good and professional staff solved it fast You need to check your room carefull when check-in Remember 102 it's a reception phone no. Will really help you when you need it ( happened with me) That fish which eating the dead skin was good experience on a beach
