It was a quiet place off the highway, but very close to the national park entrance. Imran made us feel at home and made us feel like extra special guests.

This was a last minute stay for us and ended up being one of the most memorable stays! Imran ji (our host) is a wonderful human being. His passion for wildlife and nature comes across in his home and through the many conversations we had with him. The home cooked food was exceptional. This was a true homestay experience! Imran Ji also arranged for a safari and learning about the many birds of the jungle from him was amazing. His knowledge of wildlife is unparalleled and I consider it a privilege to have found and stayed at his homestay.

The host was very caring and full of warmth.

The wardrobe could have been better equipped with cloth hanger and hooks. The bathroom needed more cleanliness. It was a homestay and the fact was not palpable on the website.

The host is really helpful, they give home made food, if you are looking to experience a house in jungle then go for it!

It is a home stay, the location is a little offbeat, hence it feels a little overpriced.

I fall short of words to write about Imran Sir (or, Khan saab as locals fondly call him) & his homestay. Once you're in Ramnagar and are staying with him - you become his family member. Anything and everything you would need, he would always go above & beyond to ensure you have an amazing experience. The homestay is right at the Corbett Tiger Reserve boundary (quite literally) so spotting Sambar deers, Spotted Deers at night is an absolute certainty. If you're lucky, you might spot leopards & elephants from a safe distance (his terrace). The food is amazing, the staff are super cute & friendly. But the best part about The Rangers lodge is the host - Imran sir himself. If you're here - yes, do all the things that you came here to do i.e. Jungle safari (he will help arrange), site seeing etc. but do engage in warm conversations with Khan saab - the wealth of information he has on wildlife, nature, tiger, Corbett is unparalleled. For me and my wife, it's a no-brainer that every time we think Corbett, we would think of Imran sir's homestay. They don't make people like him anymore :)

Mr. Khan, more lovingly known as Khan sahab by the locals, is one of the warmest people I have come across. For the first time did a homestay feel more like a 'home' and less like a BnB. Whether it was the fantastic meals that my husband and I enjoyed for 5 days straight, right from Mrs. Khan's kitchen, or the kebabs and momos and endless snacks that Khan sahab got us for our evenings at the bonfire, there was so much that happened on that terrace. His knowledge and his humility is worth admiring as a host. If there was ever a course on 'How to be a good host', Khan sahab is the right Professor to go for. His warmth, absolute love, and kindness towards all our needs and unspoken of things made us feel like we were family. His daughter, Khadija was an equally wonderful host. His two helper boys and a female helper are kind, quick and happy-go-lucky just like Khan sahab himself. The safari with Khan sahab was one like experiencing it with a NatGeo narrator (he's a phenomenal disciple of nature). From our terrace/balcony, we say sambhar, jackals, and spotted deers over a cup of chai or a glass of rum. The bonfire was lit every day, and we were happily fed (we gained a lot of weight! Happy weight :)). We also saw the trunk of an elephant mere feet away from our stay in the jungles around. It was such a rush! We also met an amazing couple who stayed next to our room for a night, and I don't think this trip could have been any better. PS. We'd planned on leaving after two days. We left after five. That's how amazing this stay was. Go on. Do stay here and ditch the conventional hotels and jungle homes. Khan sahab's is a home that you're looking for. And who knows, maybe we meet you there again? PPS. We found our baby cat love there, Kaju. Hope she's growing up fell and fat.
